not sure if this is a repeat thread, but here goes.
does your band and colorguard not seem to get along? im not sure if this is the same for everyone, but our guard really seems to not like the band. they practically want to hit us with their flags! crying

InvaderSar not sure if this is a repeat thread, but here goes. does your band and colorguard not seem to get along? im not sure if this is the same for everyone, but our guard really seems to not like the band. they practically want to hit us with their flags! crying well they don't like us...but mnot that much eek ...oooo...i did get told off by 2 of them though...and i'm drum major....so i am pissed (still) about it!!!! scream grrrrrr!!!

We don't have a colorguard-- we simply have dancers. (You know, girls who just dance, no props or anything.)

Our colorguard and band gets along mostly because I do both and am captain and I tell them try not to hit the band.

As far as guard hitting us with flags, last year I had a solo that was an entire song, and at one of our comps, in the middle of my solo, one of the guard walking straight into me, and almost knocked me over, but I caught myself and kept playing. It was so funny.
She's guard captain this year, haha.

our band is too small to be hating each other, but we do anyways. actually i have a lot of good friends in winterguard. one of them is the only guy in winterguard, sucks for him, funny for me xp

Our guard kinda HAS to like everybody else with a corp of 31 it's bad if you don't, there's still TONS and TONS of drama between the guard and everybody, there really IS a ton of sexually active band "geeks"

We only had four color guard anyway so why would they fight with a twenty person band? XD Yeah we were very small.

Our Colorguard girls are obnoxious. We have a strict "no talking on the field" policy unless you're a drum major or section leader, and then talking is minimal and only if we're fixing a form or a fundamental.
Colorguard jabbers and screams shrilly like mad, and it bugs me.
Our colorguard likes our band... cuz they're not very good, and we make state.
Our band HATES our colorguard.

our colorguard hates everyone, One time a colorguard girl hit me with her flag, But the colorguard has these little groups that hang out with each other and the groups hate each other.

I love our colorguard, they're all really nice. And considering they have more practices than band and have litte breaks, it's a miracle they're all in a good mood.

im going to guess that colorguard for you is dance team for me sweatdrop '
they complain that we don't play fast enough, but then they can't do a simple thing like go in between us when we aren't moving
that i think is stupid, b/c two yrs ago, we had one band march through the other with no problem. and we have instruments!
sometimes i wonder about dance team................
