"Ick, what was daddy thinking sticking me in this gross place while he went off on his 'errands' whatever those meant." thought Junketsu, was left in nursery for the day and was currently sitting outside which a group of children, all much younger than her around. Fortunatly the day care attendant seemed busy with a baby who just filled his pants with a substantial amount of excrement. "Lady is busy... I should just go away."
Junketsu stood up and as quickly as her legs could carry her she ran down the street and turned a corner. Only when she was well out of ear shot did she cry: "I'm going, kay bye bye lady!"

Flitch was wandering aimlessly down the street, face naturally buried in some ponderously thick book as he walked. It was a fun sight to watch, the blue-haired boy toddling and weaving all along the sidewalk as if he were some half-drunken fool. Yet the boy knew well enough to glance up from time to time, so as not to crash into anyone or anything.
It was during one of his quick glances up when he spotted an all-too-familiar white ponytail with the telltale black streaks. Junkie!
"Hoooi!" the Sin' called, waving with a hand. "Junketsu!"

Jan seemed to come out of nowhere, which was actually a store right behind Junketsu. The tall girl had a knapsack on one shoulder, but when she saw the still running toddler, she moved up behind her, and scooped her up, squeezing gently.
"Junki! Where ya runnin' ta, squirt?"
The pretty thing looked like she was escaping prison or something. Glancing around, Indu saw PJ was nowhere in sight, and raised her brows, continuing to walk until she reached Flitch, Junketsu in arms.
"Heya, Flitch."
She liked the smart boy. Didn't know him well, but liked him. She'd never met another sin'aeis besides him that liked books as much as she did.

"WAH!" Junketsu was throw off balance when she was picked up by the stranger, for a second or two she thought she was in trouble. She thought this was one of those people who daddy said shaved people's heads and took them away forever, though when she found out it was only Jani she sighed with relief.
"JANI! I missed you so much, oh you look different, and your strong, you can pick me up too! As she said this she heard her name called out, looking toward the source of the noise she say Flitchy, a big book in hand.
"Flitchy! You too? Reading book still? It's big.
Adressing both with a wide grin on her face she said: "I got away from the mean nany lady. I broke free, now I'm here. It's good!"

"Hello to you too, Jani," Flitch said with a polite smile, closing the book and tucking it beneath his arm. He didn't know the older girl as well as he'd have liked, but she seemed nice enough.
He grinned at Junketsu's comment, idly tracing a finger along the book's spine. "Yeah. A friend of mine lent it to me. But how are you both doing?" he asked, bright blue eyes flickering back and forth between the two. "You guys going on some outing or something?"

"Jan, please."
She corrected gently. Junketsu could get away with calling her Jani, simply because she was so young, and close to the blonde's heart. She hadn't been Jani since she was the same age as the toddler, actually. She prefered Jan now.
Setting Junki down on the sidewalk, she shrugged fluidly, answering both of their comments and questions.
"Miss'd ya too, Junki. Ya 'scaped babysittin'? Good fer ya!"
Now she glanced over at Flitch again and shook her head, smiling.
"Naww, jes' ran into her. I s'pose we're goin' on one NOW though, ef ya wanna come."

Junketsu looked to Jani, so now she prefers Jan huh? Well no matter, Junketsu would always know her as Jani. Her closest friend, from infanthood.
When put down she ran over to Flitchy, as was her custom with this particular Sin, and threw her arms around him in a hug. She did really like the boy, he was so nice. It was good to be with such nice friends she though.
"Mhm, were going out now! You need to come with us to Flitchy. But where do we go?"

"Jan? All right, I'll remember that."
So it was Jan now? Flitch had always known her as Jani, but a switch to Jan was fine. Guess she was trying to go for something more mature. After all, people outgrew nicknames, and... other things. But Jan was a good name for her. Flitch liked it.
He grinned at both girls, shrugging. "An outing sounds good. I don't have any plans, so I'm free..."

It actually had been Jan since she was in the late part of her toddler... hood. Some people, close ones, continued to call her Jani anyways, however. Jani didn't fit who she was anymore. Not physically, or mentally.
"Well, then... Where d'ya wanna go, Junki?"
A sweet smile for the little girl.

Junketsu released Flitch and looked around a bit, this area was a mystery to her. "Um... I don't know where we are now, but I want to go some place real exciting! You people arebig, so do you know where to go?"
Infact Junketsu had also changed a bit, she ent from being a shy girl to a bit more outgoing, she had a love for doing things that were potentially dangerous, and she did them just for the thrill. "I ran from the lady, so the day has to be excitinger than it normally would be!" Again Junketsu showed her lack of grammer skills, but that didn't bother her, and she smiled at the thought of gettig into some mischief. yes, today was a day for mischief.

"Know where to go? Me?" Flitch chuckled lightly and shrugged. "I don't know. I never go anyplace that people would consider 'exciting'..."
And indeed he didn't. Aside from the library and a few bookstores, Flitch didn't know much of any cool places. Well, there was his house, but he didn't think that was quite what the girls had in mind.
"How about you, Jan? You know of any place we could go to?"
