Man. The minute Matilda returns and another wand was found. This time? A TWIG. That's right - a simple twig with damned leaves that she risked her life for. Why? Because, well, she had to.
Damn, damn, damn. Sighing, Ianna leaned against the desk and closed her eyes. Coailiann was somewhat grounded at the moment so she wasn't able to be there to entertain her. Now it was just time for her to sit and wait for whatever Guardian it was that was supposed to have the twig to show up.
Whenever that would be, anyway. Sigh.
Perhaps they'd show up soon...

Kyo sighed. It's been quite some time that he arrived here at the Head quarters. Wandering the many hall ways. So far he met a few of the already owners. "Ghosts.. psh.." Kyo slammed his fist on his forehead, "All I want is the way out of this place!" Kyo sighed. Remembering the time he broke the lamp a while back. Making a mental note to apologize to the owner of this place and make some kind of payment or something...
"I think..." Kyo placed his hand on the door knob. Opening it up a familiar setting came into view. It was the main entrance, the one place with the portal. "Finally!" Kyo smirked, turning his head to see a woman out of the corner of his eye. "Do you run this place?" The elf stepped up to the desk, trying to grab her attention.

Ianna blinked and raised a brow. He'd entered from her HOUSE? Well. That was different. How the ******** did he get in there? Nonetheless, Ianna turned her head to look at him.
"Yes. And how did you get in my house?"
A little more snappy than she'd normally go for, but hey, it was her house. Her children lived there...and that was a stranger. Of course, the droll voice of Matilda came up in the back of her head.
Guardian.
"Argh, this person?"
Yes.

A slight tingly feeling developed in his nose. The dust covering the room began to take it’s toll. “Ah..Ah… Ahchoo!” Kyo pulled a tissue from his back pocket and wiped his nose. “Sorry..”
"I came in quite some time ago... and met up with some of the people here," Kyo shook his head and raised his eye brow confused. Hearing the woman commune to herself. What kind of person talks to themselves?
Kyo shook his head again. Ignoring the fact. "Anyways back to the point, there was this ghost in there belonging to a person named Neveah. Well it kind of freaked me out and I accidentally back up and into a lamp," Kyo sighed once again. "I broke it I'm sorry!"

"I don't care about any lamps," Ianna said, narrowing her eyes slightly, "What I do care about is you being in my house - how long? - and not having the courtesy to find the owner and say hello."
Play nice.
"I AM playing nice, you stupid little --" She was cut off, mouth moving a few times as Matilda had silenced her. Great.
Just like her daughter to return with a few new powers. Lovely.
I said, play nice.
Ianna sighed, "Sorry. I'm a bit irritable. But you would be too if a tree almost ate you!"

Kyo backed away slightly. "I don't really know what’s going on here," Kyo raised an eye brow. Almost tripping over his feet as he stepped away. Obviously nervous and scared from this place. "All I know is that I touched the door and I came in here and something called to me and then I started to wander then these ghost things started to come from every where," The elf stopped and took a deep breath, "and now I finally found the way out and here I am..." Kyo stared down at the floor.
"I'm sorry I didn't know this was your home!" The elf flopped onto the floor and sighed.
"How could a tree eat you? Tree's don't live like that any mo.." Kyo stopped himself before telling to much.

"Oh, they don't? I can prove differently," she pulled out the large, leather bound book and thumped it onto the desk. Silver eyes moved back to lock on Kyocho and she half smiled.
"Go ahead, take a look. It won't bite," though in this place it wasn't entirely true. Some books really DID bite...
The minute that Kyocho touched the book, an invisible wind picked up in the shop, blowing the cover open, pages rustling and blowing about until it landed on a well worn page. On the page was a sketch (though beautifully DETAILED) of a plain...twig. Or, a twig wand. Below it read:
"Treant. Wand ID 00033. A Soul has been trapped within the confines of the wand. Congratulations, you have become the next guardian to take on the task of raising it from infancy to greatness. We, Ianna and I, have the upmost faith in you to complete your task dutifully. Best of luck,
Matilda."

The elf scrambled on the floor, crawling slowly toward the desk as he watched the book land on it's top. Lifting himself up with the assistance of the desk, Kyo stared at the book. Moving his right hand closer and closer, but pulled it away.
Something called him back... drawing him in. The elf reached out once more. A wind picked up blowing over his body and through the strands of his hair. The cover and the pages of the book began to move and flip one over the other. Until it landed on something.
It was a page with a twig like wand on it. Kyo began to read the words. "A real Treant?" The elf was flabbergasted. The elf reached out to touch the page. "Who is Matilda?" Kyo looked at the woman who he presumed was Ianna.

"Yep." Ianna said, somewhat cheerfully this time. He seemed to be taking it decently well for someone who had just been told they were going to be a father. Or maybe it just hadn't hit him yet - she wasn't one to judge, really.
Sort of.
"Matilda is my daughter, and the one who was speaking to me earlier. I'm not crazy - she is, though."
Ha, Ha.

Kyo chuckled lightly. Something finally clicked in his head. "Wait.. wait a minute. I'm not the one who is being congratulated am I?" Kyo tilted his head slightly confused from everything. The elf began to scratch at his head. Nothing seemed to be sinking into his thick skull... well nothing really seems too right off the bat and seems to take quite a bit of time till he finally realizes what is going on.

Ah. He was dense, then! "Yes. You are. You're a father. To a Treant. Who is trapped in that wand," she pointed towards a twig laying on her desk. It didn't look much like a wand, but then again, Treants didn't look much like people, did they? Kind of suited.

"Of a real Treant?" Kyo eyes went large in size. Shock and a mixture of confusion overwhelmed him. Kyo moved his hand over near the actual twig lying on the desk. A deep warmth feeling was being emitted from something deeper than wood from the wand.
"Thank you..." The elf seemed to whisper, then all of a sudden the memories of the broken lamp came back into mind. "There has to be something I can do for the broken lamp.."

"Just take care of that kid," Ianna answered, tilting her head, "Take the wand, guard it. It already died once, it deserves it's second chance at life, don't you think?"
The woman once more indicated to the wand on the desk, "I don't need to show you the headquarters since you're already apparently aquainted. So unless you have another question, you can come back later and meet more of the other Guardians."

The elf took the wand into his hands and brought it close to his face and took a closer inspection. With a affirmative nod. "I believe that’s true, but how did he die?" Kyo seemed to whisper the last part. The elf turned and began to wander off.
"Thanks again, I'm going to go back in. I noticed there was a library and I was wondering if I could use the books?" Kyo stopped. Half way between the desk and the door he used before.

The moment Kyocho touched the wand a warm beating pulse and a flash of light could be felt and seen. It lasted only a split second, but it was there. It seemed that the elf had been acknowledged.
"Well," she started, "I'm not sure. It's something only they will know and it won't be until later. The headquarters is always open to you."
