So I notcied that somtimes people use, or kinda have the same actions/reactions/personalities as other Characters. What I want to know is what characters you guys think are like Edward. It doesn't have to be all os his/ her personalities, just some. Please state your reason why they are like Edward, please.

Ok, I'll go first. I think in some ways, Edward is like Howl. [ From Howl's Moving Castle] because he is tired of running away, and now has somthing to want to protect, after all these years. Plus, their both not Human.

Okay...Edward = Erik. You know, the Phantom of the Opera.
-In love with someone he can't truly have -Insanely amazing musical genious -Not human (Well, Erik kinda is...in a totally twisted way) -They're both also ridiculously smart -Vanish instantly; gift for stealth -Would do anything for the woman they love
END. =D

In some ways Edward reminds me of Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. But, then again, that's probably because Twilight is loosely themed off that book, but maybe I'm just crazy... lol! xd

This isn't a person, but I noticed this while acting Emo today at school. (Don't ask....had my hair different..down for the first time in the whole school year & in my face, plus I was sick and had a sort of glaring face...so they called me Emo...Doesn't help that black is one of my favorite colors...along with blue... sweatdrop )
Anyways.. Edward is like a knife. They both glitter in the sun...and can cut your skin like it is 'butter;' as Edward states at one point. They are both really hard/smooth...and capture your eye. I'm sure if you saw a knife in the middle of a crowd you'd stare. Same with Edward. ninja

The whole, gentleman that can't accept how he really feels for a girl thing. And of course Romeo. Because every love story can draw from that great piece of literature.

Now that you point it out, they are quite similar (except Edward-sempai isn't nearly as vain. 3nodding ) ((Brilliant movie-- Howl's Moving Castle. Miazaki-sensei is a genius...))

My friend Luke kind of reminds me of Edward on account they both have a very extensive vocabulary.

Yeah. I liked the knife comparison. I think that they're are a lot of characters with bits and peices of his personallity, but no one can quite match it.
