Yep don't mind suggestions at all, it is what makes thisplace better. This forum will help keeping the main page clean, you can post your questions and suggestions in here instead of pages upon pages on the front page. Hope to hear some good stuff from all of you, and remember there is no such thing as a stupid question only stupid answers.

I nominate Destructions Right Hand. I know he would like it hear but hes not on as much as he use to be still its a start I would nomanate more but I would have to talk to them first. Matt(Destruction Right Hand) is a good friend of mine. ^.^

So, I was looking around, 'cuz I'm bored and don't wanna do AutoCAD, and I noticed a lot of threads that have pretty much reached the end of their lives. For example, "Depressed". Is anyone ever going to post in there again? If not, I was wondering if I have permission to do some housecleaning. *is a neat freak*

Would there be a chance that we could have a role play based on a fictional world that involves fantasy and sci-fi? Those two genres put together equal my favorite genre.
In another guild I'm a part of, we just started working on the construction of a fantasy/sci-fi RP. It's called "The E.S.S.E.N.C.E. Project", and takes place in the fitional world of Laurandeos, home of the world's two races: the Sol and Gypsy. There was once a third race of imense power known as the Godlings, but their power caused them to become extinct in a calamity that wiped out almost all life. Each race owns several large technological cities that are all connected by a railway transit line. The Godlings also had a great city known as Nocturna. This city is now a forsaken breeding ground for Laurandeos's most malicious monsters. The monsters and wrongdoers are kept at bay by Laurandeos's superhuman soldiers, the E.S.S.E.N.C.E. Operatives.
This RP hasn't been started yet in that other guild, but when it does, I believe it is going to be awsome.
My conclusion is that a fantasy/sci-fi RP would be a good idea for this guild, but I can't say for sure whether this idea will be considered or not.

It's definitely a good idea. I'm a fan of sci-fi and fantasy too actually.
The trick is coming up with a good storyline, which clearly I'm not the greatest at. ^^; I just make up characters mostly and let them run around usually.
I'm definitely not adverse to the idea. If you want to make up a storyline or whatever, you can be in charge of that RP, or we can get someone else to figure things out, or if we're really desperate, I can give it a go. XD
Either way, that's all a really long winded way to say, I like your idea. 3nodding

I might be able to come up with a storyline. I was the one who created the storyline for that RP I described earlier, so I suppose I could do some brainstorming.

I sort of came up with a minor storyline to go along with until something exciting happens. I kind of already have something exciting that might end up happening, but it is sort of selfish due to the fact that it revolves alot around my character. It still does concern other characters, though.
The RP could be about a dying planet where symbols of humanity (cities, highways, dams, etc.) have been taken back by nature. The smart and peaceful people could live in small walled colonies, safe from the creatures of the outer world. Some other people who are bent on injustice could live outside of these colonies and are really the enemies of the peaceful people.
This could be the RP's begining:
The sun’s morning light shone down upon a world through the dust of wastelands, a world consumed by warfare and hatred. The planet that once was a lush green utopia for every living being had been transformed into an arid and harsh wilderness ruled by injustice and callous species of monsters due to the misconduct acts of corrupt politics and conflict brought to light through pointless affairs. Those who trek across and through the once beautiful landscapes are left with an eerie feeling that creeps through their hearts. The knowledge that the many kinds of sceneries have been stained crimson in the fierce battles of this world’s dark past was enough to make even the most courageous men tremble in fear and sadness. Dead and rotting trees lay scattered amongst the tall grass, most with a frightening assortment of bones hanging from dirty ropes from the branches. These are what has been left from what once was a magnificent forest. A variety of weapons from swords to guns lay on the cold and dry soil as remnants of the multiple struggles. The armour of fallen soldiers also lay hidden in the grass, bones of what the countryside scavengers did not like as leftovers of the corpses. Massive assault guns, still able to launch another strike, sat where they quit firing. Wooden pikes, on which human skulls were speared, were randomly strewn about, stuck in the ground. What remains of humanity is not much; cities have been reduced to ruins where broken down vehicles remain parked on the streets, some with their drivers still inside. Dead vegetation covers the cities, regional highways, and railway transit lines. Airport runways have been taken back by nature, and so have the crashed corpses of the airships that once ruled the skies. The many lakes and rivers of the world have dried up. After the chaos of the great wars of the past, the world has become a certainly forsaken place, and slowly, but surely, the planet has begun to wither and die…
