An almost pure white tiny figure stood atop a boulder his mind straying from what ever task Aadil, his mother, and put him on. He was alone and that was not a good thing for him, so for the time being he was watching the bugs as they flew through the air; and at first was completely convinced that he too could fly. Kubwa was an adventurous little boy and if there was something that could be tested, it would be!
Crouching down into a mock version of his mother's hunting stance he stretched his limbs and tiny muscles grew taunt. He was going to fly right off that boulder!
"1....2....3!" he growled and his tiny form started to soar through the air, and going...going...going! SMACK! he hit the ground, Hard.
"Hey!" He growled at the ground, a cloud of dirt and dust came up around him and he coughed unhappily, he thought for sure he had the ability to fly, after all birds and bugs could! Hopefully no one saw his little mistake.

It had gone unseen that the little male had fallen but not unherd. Looking up Zuri's ears perked up, she'd been sunbathing lazily away from her bother and father.
Looking around she noticed a little figure not to far away. She pranced along towards the cub, standing there she looked at him. "What you doing?" Asked the Juvi.

"Flying," he answered nonchalantly before looking up into the older Jueveniles face, suddenly a blush crept over him and the red was easily seen through his white pelt.
"Umm..playing around," he stood up awkwardly and looked up at the older female; dirt clung to his white fur, mother would have a fit if she saw! He had not met anyone outside of the family before but had heard of other lions, "I am Kubwa, and I am my mother's pride and joy," he said matter of factly.
Kubwa had a small family his mother, father, and brother, they meant the entire world to him and it was strange to see anyone that did not belong to his little group.
"who are you?"

Zuri looked at him tilting her head wondering how on earth did the little one expect to fly. But she brushed it aside with a grin. "Aurizuri's my name." She put simply.
"But you can call me Zuri if you want." She said with a nod softly looking at Kubwa's pelt, "So can I ask why you were trying to fly?" She said laying down looking at the cub.

"Zuri is a pretty name," he purred happily and started a small pace back and forth infront of her, "I was trying to be like the bugs and the birds...and like the gods!" he giggled and sped up his pacing back and forth.
Unfortunatly Kubwa had to be the most clumbsy cub no the planet and his paw got caught on a rock sending him hurtling against Zuri, man this wasn't his day! First he cannot fly, and now? He cannot even walk!

"Thank you." She said with a grin as he was pacing back and forth. She looked at him curiously when he said gods, tilting her head she questioned, "Gods?"
"Ohh," Zuri blinked as he tripped and was falling towards her, She braced herself for the hit before she chuckled and brushed off his fur helping him back to his feet. "You okay?" She asked looking at the cub.

He burst into a fit of giggles as she helped him up, "Yeah, I'm fine. Oh, and gods are like HUGE lions who have wings and magical powers, my mommy told me."
Aww, a mama's boy ni the making! He giggled again and started to think of interesting things to do to entertain her. "So... what is it like to be grown up?" His eyes played over her and he thought about what it must be like to be bigger than just a measly little cub.
Aadil's thoughts rang through him, he truly was the product of his mother because the moment that he thought he was just a measly cub his mother's voice told him that some day he would be strong, and wild.

"Ahh that's good you're okay." She grinned and moved along just af ew foot and held out a paw picking up a cricket and closing her other paw atop of it. "These gods sound insteresting. I'd love to meet one." She said with a nod and almost dreamy loook.
Her tail flickered for a moment before pausing. "Oh? To be "grown up" She said looking at the cub, "it's not much different than what it is to be a cub... there's still rules to follow, unwanted things to be done, and stuff to learn." She let the cricket move from her paw taking flight.
Her tail flickred as she looked around. "So you wanna play something?"

He was with his mother most of the time, and of course with his brother and father. But he still knew very little games, mostly they were games to make his father say more than a few words.
"Will you teach me a game?" his eyes sparkled with delight, "I bet that if we try really hard we can fly?"
He wiggled his tail causing his entire back end to wiggle along with it.

Zuri smiled. "I'd love to teach you a game. But I think I need to get back home. Father didn't know I'd left actully." The juvi chuckled softly and coughed.
"I'll teach you one next time we meet up okay? I promise!" Her tail flickered as sen a grasshopper flying the cub's way before heading back to the den where her bother and father stayed. It was fun to be around cub; she was sort of sad to be leaving her new found friend so soon.
