Has anyone noticed how many fans Green Day has lost?!?!? OMG! Alot of my friends who used to like them or think they were OK now hate them!!! confused Why does everyone hate them?

When I ask them why they hate Green Day they just say their annoying... I don't think their annoying! lol

Lots of people can think green day is annoying and lots of people hate them. Its called an opinion, so people who dont like them anymore are just saying it because thats what lots of other people are saying.
They lost a lot of fans when they came out with dookie also....well it started when they went to a larger record label, but still.

Yeah, tell me about it...
Used to be at my school that lots of people liked Green Day, but now it's no longer safe to be a fan.
I'm not even kidding. Like, if you let it slip that you like 'em, you will invariably hear one of these responses:
1.(the old classic) "Green Day sucks!"
2."Wake Me Up When September ends is so emo"(does imitation of cutting wrist with razor blade while singing, never mind the fact that it's about Billie Joe's FATHER who DIED of CANCER when he was 10 YEARS OLD!)
3."The only good song by Green Day is Holiday."
4.(after you ask them exactly how many Green Day songs they've actually heard) "Holiday." (usually while giving you a blank stare)
And those are only the top few...
Oh well. Good to know I'm not alone. The supporters of Green Day WILL triumph! They WILL!!!

Yeah, I have loads of friends that liked Green day and Now they dont like them much cause the new album isn't coming soon! stressed

Weird. Neither have I, but people will walk up to me and say "You like Green Day?" It's pretty similar, though.
