It was getting late, he noted with a halfhearted sigh. It was probably a better idea to seek shelter than to simply stare at the moon and stars all night, but he couldn't bring himself to leave his confidants just yet. Golden eyes focused on the many patterns of the stars above, and a small smile adorned his features as he closed his eyes to enjoy the breeze. Maybe he wanted things to change, but there were some things about his life that he liked...

The evening breeze beckoned her. She did not know where it wanted her to go, but she often went where it blew her. She galloped in the direction it blew her and kicked up her heels. As she ran through the plain, she noticed a dark figure in the distance. All she saw was a glimmer of gold, possibly the eyes of creature? She slowed her gait to a walk and quietly maneuvered through the grass.
"Hm, what could this be? Another soquili? At this time of night?" She thought to herself, and then decided that she was not surprised due to her other soquili encounters at night. She kept her distance from the soquili and hoped he would not notice her. If it did happen to notice her, hopefully this is not a hostile soquili. She slinked through the grass around the soquili and tried to sneak off to a different direction without being detected.

Stretching his forelegs absently, the stallion let a jaw-cracking yawn escape his mouth as his ears twitched back and forth, but he froze when a rustle caught his attention. He turned to look at the origin of the sound, but saw nothing, and dismissed it as his imagination. He had just turned to leave when an unfamiliar scent caught his attention, and he turned to look back at the foliage before him. "Is someone there..?"

"Oh dear, my sneaking skills have failed me again! Well, might as well make myself known." Daisy thought to herself and sighed. She crept closer to the figure so that she can see it and it can see her in the pale moonlight. She started being able to make out what exactly this soquili figure was. It was a dark stallion. He appeared to have spots covering his body. What stood out on him most of all was those bright, golden eyes. "At least it's not a kalona...hopefully he's friendly. If he's not, I'll just apologize for wasting his time and be on my way." She thought as she briefly examined the stallion to the best that the moonlight permitted her.
"Erm, I'm sorry if I startled you." She spoke softly as she lowered her head. She turned her head to the left and said, "I was just on a moonlight stroll, and I saw you at in the distance, well, uh, your figure I mean. So I just thought that it would be best to try to sneak off, but I guess that didn't go too well. I'm Daisy." She made a weak, but warm smile and returned her gaze back at his direction.

He noticed her wary expression and tried to make himself seem as non-threatening as possible, offering a warm, friendly grin, even as he sweatdropped. 'That was supposed to be sneaking..?' he chuckled softly as he shook his head and took a step forward, offering her his trademark charming greeting of dipping down onto one knee and bowing his head with a flourish, straightening after a moment to observe her. "It's a pleasure to meet you, miss Daisy. I am known as Shadow. You have no reason to fear me."

”Shadow, eh? Well, Shadow, it’s a pleasure to meet you too.” Daisy smiled back, and bowed her head slightly. ”Hm, you never know what’s lurking around at night. That’s why I get very wary around unfamiliar figures. I’d hate to get eaten by some evil monster…or kalona,” She chuckled softly. But, I see you appear to be neither a monster or kalona.”
She glanced at Shadow for a brief moment, but then looked up at towards stars. They lit up the sky ever so nicely. She sighed in relief and kept on staring at the stars. She was just fascinated by their beauty.
