Clan/Bloodline: Kugen belongs to the Sabaku clan. The 'Secret Death' technique, is the art of manipulating wind through hand signs (the wind sometimes seems to move of its own free will). Every member of this clan inherits a different characteristic of wind, none are the same, and using chakra the user is able to manipulate the wind further.
Kekkei Genkai: Kugen inherited the 'Silent Blood' technique. Using this technique Kugen can manipulate the oxygen found throughout the bloodstream, causing blood pressure to rise until the veins finally explode. When the technique is used well, it can be useful, and targeted to one or more enemies at a time. It can also be limited to only one part of the enemy’s blood stream, disabling the enemy from fighting any further. This technique requires a balance between the user’s chakra and the air surrounding him/her.
Element Affinity: Wind and Sound. Since sound is the motion of wave vibrations through the air, Kugen can also use this technique. He has limited sound potential due to his unique hands (see “background” for details), though he rarely uses it.

Physical Description: Quick Sketch His undershirt, which is connected to the fishnet on his arms, is black. The collar (actually a hood) is grey. His over shirt is a jungle green (dull green) and the design on the bottom is black. His pants are a dark red and his shoes are grey.
Bio: Kugen was originally from Suna, the village hidden in the sand. He was born in to a lower branch of a high-ranking family, thus inheriting the family bloodline. As is the custom in this village, Kugen was trained to be a killer at a young age. Unfortunately, his teacher (his father) died in the battle that plagued the country when he was only eight. This put Kugen at a disadvantage, although he had mastered his basic training, he had yet to master his kekkei genkai. Instead of limiting his attack to only one enemy, his attack would affect all those who surrounded him. The patriarch of the family had always seen Kugen as a threat, that could someday over power his family and become leader of the main branch. Therefore, soon after his father’s death, Kugen was hunted down by the patriarchs’ lackeys. His mother, being originally from the main branch, saved Kugen from death. However, the patriarch soon caught up with Kugen and ordered holes drilled into his fore and middle fingers. This prevented Kugen from using his kekkai genkai. Still feeling threatened by Kugen, the patriarch continuously tried to have him killed. Unfortunately for the patriarch, Kugen was always under the watchful eye of his mother (especially after the hole-drilling incident). Unfortunately the patriarch soon realized that to get to Kugen, he would have to get through his mother. Taking advantage of the loss of her husband, the patriarch ordered her hypnotized into thinking that her son had been killed in the war also. Kugen, witnessed the end of the process, and thinking that his mother was dead, he fled. After four and a half years of evading assassination attempts, Kugen finally reached Oto, the hidden village of sound. After infiltrating the village, Kugen changed a few records. The records stated that Kugen had flunked out of an academy in Konoha and thus transferred to the village of sound. He also changed his last name to Byukori, in a desperate attempt to throw his assassins off his trail and hiding his true story from everyone in the sound village. The next year Kugen graduated with flying colors, baffling all who had only seen the flunky from Konoha. He has led a fairly normal lifestyle here, but with the chunin exams coming up and teams from all over flooding to one place, how much longer will he be able to evade his past?
Personality: Kugen is lazy, strong willed, and rude (for lack of a better word). He has his arrogant moments for sure and is untrusting, after all anyone could be an enemy. After many years on his own, he is independent, determined, and isn’t used to taking orders from others, nor is he team oriented. Although he may be a wise, agile, and strong fighter, his attitude and lack of respect can get the better of him.
Other: Kugen usually uses wind, he can also use sound, but rarely does because it is weaker than his wind ability.
