Ok all you cool people of this guild... What this topic is supposed to be here for is basically........ well.... for the heck of it.
You know those icky peoples nobody likes who don't like a particular thing your doing so they bash on it and call you stupid for it? Yeah well this thread is for catching those peoples. sweatdrop (I.E: Post anything that would be idiotic for a Violinist/Violist as if you yourself were actually doing it. See my post as an example.)
Hey everyone! A couple days ago I got a great deal on ebay for a Stradi-somethingorother for only $50!!! I've never heard of the brand before but I just hope it's good!
BTW, my bow has started turning black. I tried scraping it off with my fingers the other day but it just spread around.
Anybody have any suggestions?
(And this is where you guys come in, stating a load of bull-cocky whee )

you can't get any answer directly, because no-one's ever online here... but I think it's a good idea, but I've no inspiration at the moment... (I'm at home and my computer's so slow! and after every three minutes he sticks. scream )

My violin is turning white! I don't know what it is! It's like, like mildew or something! The more I play, the whiter it gets, and IT'S SPREADING! gonk HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 WHAT DO I DO????????

And if that doesn't help, you should try getting new strings... Maybe the metal is chipping off and molding or something? confused You never know...

Don't worry, it's gone now, I put it in the washing machine with extra-strong Tide.
But then I put it in the Heavy-tumbling washer, and it won't play anymore? Why?

There's a stick thingy on the inside of my viola. And it doesn't do anything. Do you think it would matter if I took it out?

Hmm... A stick that doesn't do anything... I'd say take it out. They're probably just giving you extra pieces incase your bow breaks in half or something. confused

And thats why the hair is there, it holds the pieces together... But anyway, I took out the stick thingy. The bridge fell over, but I never liked that part anyway.

And thats why the hair is there, it holds the pieces together... But anyway, I took out the stick thingy. The bridge fell over, but I never liked that part anyway. Ahhh!! The black cushiony thing fell off! crying that was the nice part. Now when I play, I get marks on my neck. So I'm thinking superglue. What do you think?
