OGAWG Monthly Art Exchange

How this works:
1. You must post here and ask to be put on the list for the month you wish to participate in by the first day of that month. If you wish to participate every month, just say so and then you won't have to keep posting.
2. Please pm me (OGAWG) with a pic of your avatar or character you'd like drawn. Original characters are ok, but please provide a ref pic or bio page. Also, please try not to make it too difficult/complicated as many of us are very novice artists. All pm's should include "Monthly Art Exchange" in the title, so I can keep them straight from my regular mail.
3. By the 5th of the month I will take the names of everyone who signed up and throw them all into a random number generator maching each person is up with someone else and then forward the character information on to each person via pm. This way, no one knows who drew thier name until the finished image is posted.
4. You have the whole rest of the month to draw the request of the person who's name you got and post it here--just in case, when you post your pic, please tell us who it is... wink If you haven't submitted your drawing by a couple of days before the month is over, OGAWG will likely pm you with a friendly reminder. If you don't finish and submitt your drawing on time, you can not participate the next month--poo on you, someone didn't get any art this month. D: If you do not submit a drawing at all, you are disqualified from participating in future rounds of the MAE.
5. Lather, rince, repeat.


Rules/Guidlines:
1. All skill levels are encouraged to participate--you don't have to be a good artist, as long as you put genuine effort into drawing the person you were assigned.
2. If you do not finish drawing for your person by the end of the month, you are not elligable to particpate the next month. No one will want to draw for you if they're not going to get one in return. D:
3. If you do not submit finish and submit your drawing at all, you are inelligable to participate in any future MAE's. If after a few months, you would like a second chance, you can 'buy' your way back in by sending OGAWG 5k. This gold will be used to commission a pic for the person you flaked out on originally. Once they recieve thier commission, you are welcome to participate in the exchange again.
4. Be nice, don't put down someone else's art. D: See Rule #1--if someone put effort into drawing something for you, appriciate it! Don't complaign that a 'good artist' didn't draw your name.
5. Any/all medias are acceptable.

Okay everybody! There was a slight change in how this is going to work. It's now more like a Secret Santa type dealy-bob, so all requests need to be sent to me and I will forward them on to whoever drew your name! ^_^

Please send me a pm with "Monthly Art Exchange" in the title, and let me know which character you'd like drawn. If I don't get a pm from you by the 1st, you'll end up having your current avatar drawn. If you do indeed want your avatar drawn, please pm me anyways with a pic of it to make it easier on me and in case you change. 3nodding

Just a guess, but I'd say pm OGAWG since she is the official controller of this thread and to help Raesha keep things organized.
