It had been several weeks now since Koka had arrived to Nyek's lands and through those weeks she had grown in both stature and strength. She was loosing the cub fat quite quickly. Her body much of that of a well tuned machine now. She was well proportioned and more arrogant than ever. In fact, everything was going perfectly until a few scant days ago.
While training by herself Koka had nearly been gravely injured. During her training session her vision had blacked out and random images which she had been unable to deipher ran across her mind. As if that one time hadn't been enough, it happened twice more before Koka decided to call it quite until she truly got hurt besides the few bruises she sported. Over the past days the visions had begun to get more aggressive and hindering to the point where Koka was unsure if Nyek would not be able to notice her odd behavior. So it wasn't unsurprising that Koka was pleased to see night fall where she would be able to relax without worries of being disrupted or so she thought.
After days of being tortured,by the visions it shouldn't have been too surprising that the vision finally surfaced itself fully. As slumber took over Koka's cranky brain her world was changed dramatically as she was thrust fully into her seer abilities. A distorted vision of the hut in which Nyek called his adobe Koka saw the King with a lioness of pale hue. She had never seen this female but it was apparent that whomever she was, she was young. Not much older than Koka herself. An Adolescant? More than likely. Now, what was odd about this dream was the fact that Koka was beginning to feel subtly pains. Pains, that she assumed were coming from the young white lioness in front of her as her mouth opened with cries but no sound was emitted.
To those sleeping around the young General in Training it seemed as if Koka was having just another mere dream. Her paws moved every so often as if chasing after something but it was the small cries that escaped her maw that told otherwise.
Each cry that escaped Koka's maw was mimicking that of the pale hued lioness she saw in her vision until finally after what seemed to be the most painful moment the pain stopped. Catching her breath, Koka watched the two couple and immediatly saw the anger on Nyek's face. The vision seemed to come to a standstill there. Nyek and the mysterious lioness in front of her both looking at something. Carefully, Koka inched her way forward afraid that if she moved too fast she would wreck the vision she was in. Finally though she came up behind the lioness. Peering over her petite form, Koka was able to see the body of a cub. Carefully she stepped around to get a better look and she quickly understood what had angered Nyek.
At that precise moment, Koka woke with a gasp. Paws flailed to get under her and get to her feet, body crouched in much of a fighting position escept her face was showing the strain she was under. That had been one of the most real visions she had ever experienced and it somewhat frightened Koka to think that maybem just maybe, they could get worse over time.

It wasn't that he didn't sleep, it was simply that the salmon tinted king slept lightly, movements within his own, personal space were registered rather quickly by him. Koka was the reason for the movement tonight. Opening his golden yellow eyes the fark maned male allowed his eyes to adjust in the gloom. reaching out a claw he touched the startled female, his lips parting and flashing those pearly white teeth.
"you'll waken everyone" he whispers, his voice a quiet growl, he wasn't so much, upset, to be woken while he slept, but he was confused, the nightmare that Koka must have been having must have been a doozy. He had never seen a lion move so erratically. "What troubles you Koka?" Should he seem like he cared? He supposed so, this female would one day be a mighty general, in his eyes any way.
Stepping from his pile of furs the dark maned lord stretched his body to it's full length, those thick mucles tenced as he yawned and cleared his head of any groggyness that remained from his sleep. "Come" he said simply, padding towards the exit of his chambers, if his little general had something to speak to him about, he doubted she would wish to convey any strange dreams before the rest of the council.
Dreams were petty after all...

Koka jumped slightly at Nyek's touch as violet orbs widened. Seeing it was only Nyek she took several deep breath, licked her maw and tried to calm herself down. Once sure that she could actually stand and walk without her legs giving out on her, Koka rose and followed the path in which Nyek took out of the den. The cool breeze that had surely been filtered off the water felt marvelous to the young princess and helped her relax even more as her muscles slowly began to untense themselves and her train of thorught was able to return to normal. Thoughts were beginning to make coherent sense and it was at that precise moment she realized exactly what she had done. "I apologize for waking you." She looked up at the large King, waiting to hear what he would say to his abrupt awakening. Out of her sheer terror in the den his looks of concern had not been picked up by his young General-in-training so she wasn't expecting anything to kind out of the King. She knew that punishment culd be in store for her and resigned herself to that fact. Next thought that crossed her mind was whether to tell him about her vision. She could always just pass it off as a nonsense nightmare but that would show weakness and that was -not- something Koka wanted to show but the chances that Nyek would take her vision seriously was low in her mind. It was technically only a dream...well...a dream that invaded her mind even during the day... nearly got her killed... Arg! It was so frustrating! What was happening to her?

The golden eyed lord lay slowly. His small general seemed aggitated, bemused almost. he had hardly ever seen such a look upon a face. Certainly he had nevers een such a look upon her face. Licking his pale maw slowly he spoke in quiet tones the nights silence enhancing his soft rough voice. "What troubles you taht you must awaken everyone this eve Koka?" he whispers eyeing her with a look which held neither hatred or anger, it held perhaps quite simply a touch of curiosity, though mostly his honey glazed orbs were emotionless.
For a long silent moment the king of the oasis watched her following the lay of her body, her stance, her obvious irritation. "Speak my general" he muurrs softly. "you hide soemthing in those eyes I wish to know what" his tail lashed a single flicker as he said it. Sectrets were like gold dust to him. He wished to know hers, all of hers.

Eyes looked up at Nyek as she took one last breath and allowed her body to relax enough to sit down with relative comfort. It was quite obvious the King was curious about her actions this night and that wasn't unexpected, what did surprise her was that his tone didn't hold any kind of anger or irritation. That was a welcomed surprise and a surprise that she was quite thrilled to have. Now, how to go about explaining her...dream...
"I am not entirely certain what it was but I do know that the dream was about you and a female who was in labor." Oh yes, there was no doubt about that. The lioness with Nyek was giving birth and she, Koka, had felt every damn contraction and the birth itself. "I won't lie, the dream was so strong. Strong enough that I felt everything the birthing lioness felt."
She took another deep breath while the last of her muscles around her shoulder untensed themselves. "After the lioness gave birth you..." She hesitated a moment. "You looked...angry to say the least. I managed to get myself closer to the two of you and saw what you had laid you eyes upon. A single cub." She paused, looking his straight in the eye, knowing what she was about to say wouldn't go over well with the King and she didn't want to be cuaght unawares should he strike out at her. "A female cub."

Both of Nyekundu's brows rose as she spoke, a dream? Was that all, he grunted and lay in a more comfortable possition, this was going to be a long night if she was ghoing to speak of foolish, whimsical dreams. Still, he allowed himself to fein interest, this after all was one of his generals, a creature whom he must at least listen to to be able to hold her loyalty.
He moved in a distinctly uncomfortable manner as she spoke of labour. It was a thing he didn't enjoy watching and he would quite happily miss out on any more females giving birth. He thought maybe she had whistnessed Rukiyas birthing and was simply dreaming of the foolish pink thing flailing around like a wounded roe buck. But no, one cub? His ears flattened against his head a little "Rukiya gave birth to a litter of two cubs koka not one." His lips turned in a slight snarl. Things he didn't understand didn't so much confuse him as they left him worried. "You know that.." He paused wtaching her carefully his golden orbs questioning the truths behind her words.
"What else did you see?" his voice lowered now. Nyekundu was a great beleiver int he supernatural, he beleived he could use these powers to his own whim and will. "A female?" his tail lashed once again, a female, he was cursed with their damned kind. why couldn't they bare him a son? His eyes darkned and he questioned again a slight growl forming in that deep throat "what else did you see?"

"I know she had two..."
It was quite apparent that as she told her tale that Nyek was growing more and more interested and...was it...uneasieness? She couldn't tell in the dark that well but his last murmered question caused her body to tense slightly as if awaiting and attack of some sort. Once assured that there was no class headed in her direction she relaxed...a little bit at least. "There was nothing else. The dream cut out at that moment and I had woke up." She looked at Nyek sternly yet with a bit of curiosity as to why he was so interested in this one dream.

The salmon tinted lord licked his lips slowly. Koka had always interested him, she was a firekin and there for of strong blood but she was also mean, arrogant, his kind of woman really. This little, turn of events bemused him though. Perhaps she had seent he future. the future was important to him. It braught and fueled his own ambitious dreams. "The female, what colour was she?" his vocie was quiet now, he knew that his little slave mistress Dhamisa walked heavy these days her body slowly starting to weigh down with cubs. It wouldn't have surprised him if she only bore a single cub though, after all she was barely an adolecent.
"I am not angry Koka but I must know all the details." Interest now rather than the slight tinge of the unknown. the unknown could be learnt after all. He wanted Kokas secret, he wanted ehr dream for his own.

Koka looked into Nyek's yellow eyes as she raised her head up to show him that she wasn't scared per say of him just ready to move should he get angry enough to swipe at her. His words did little to ease her tense muscles though. She wouldn't relax until this little meeting was over. If there was one thing she learned through out her short life was to never let her guard down.
"I truthfully do not know her color but I am most certain that she was only a little older than myself. An adolescent for certain." Violet eyes never strayed from Nyek's golden as her tongue licked her dry maw. A drink from the oasis would be in order after this meeting.

Nyekundu was silent then, his mind was clealry weighing the options laid before him. Either it was a dream, simply a dream, though it seemed to eb desturbing to his little general, or it was something else.
"If you have any, more, of these dreams, you will come directly to me and speak them to only myself am I understood?" He raised a single brow at the dark female watching her coat as it vanished in to his own shadow.
He let a smile creap back on to his maw slowly and he leaned forwards grooming the top of the young females head. "Come, let us go to the watering hole I wish to ask you some more questions" He stood then and headed for the cool crystaline water of the center of the oasis. There was some more investigating to be done in to this matter, that was certain.

She bowed her head. "As you wish."
At the mention of water and Nyek's almost fatherly affection towards her caused Koka's body to ease out of it's tension as she regained back her cool and calm composer. At the mention of questions she looked up at him with a raised eyebrow before rising to all fours to follow him to the cool waters which she craved at the moment.
The walk through the darkness was a calm one. With no moon beaming down on them, Koka and Nyek's forms were nearly invisible as the moved to the sides of the artificial banks that man had so graciously created for them.
Careful with her steps Koka stepped up to a side that had crumbled somewhat, making access to the water easier for her smaller frame. She had yet gotten use to the idea of swimming in the water. Koka wouldn't willingly jump into the cool waters but should she be faced with swimming or being stuck she'd be able to wade her way through the water fairly well enough. As usual Koka just lapped up the refreshing liquid and stepped away from the side to the grassy side to await the questions that Nyek had for her.
It wasn't completely unexpected that the King would wish to talk to her. Afterall he had yet to truly question her about her past and other things since her arrival and acceptance. It was just odd timing. The middle of the night and she just being woken by a momentarily dibilitating dream.
Violet eyes glanced up at Nyek as her mind drifted to her vision. "I must admit that I am surprised that you did not notice my...unusual behavior the past day." She sighed and stretched out her body before lounging on the grass. "Whatever this...dream was it was certainly causing me problems even in my waking moments. I guess that is why I felt the need you should know about it once you asked. I will not lie. Should I have felt that the dream did not concern you at all then I would not have revealed it to you."

Licking his pale furred lips the salmon tinted lord lay silent for a long time simply watching her, his questions were few but they were of import, at least to him. Golden eyes watched the dark body as she relaxed more in his presence. It was fairly clear to the dark maned king that she would grow in to a great warrioress one day though perhaps she would serve an even greater purpose to him. Allowing his pale ears to vanish amidst that long flock of flowing black mane he crossed his forepaws and cleared his throat before speaking.
"Have you had these, dreams, before Koka?" The question was a simple enough one, his long prying mind wanted to know if she had had visions, even if they wern't of him, did she hold tightly to another rhealm a future he couldn't even see in to? He reacheda claw forwards slightly a slight breeze rustling his fur as he did so a cool watery scent wafting through his nostrils. He took a deep breath and smiled, already he had strated to convince himself of the possibility that his beautiful little dark general was a seer, a real seer, one that could aide him in the future not only through her pure, strength she had gained via her parentage, but through her mind too, perhaps she could train ehr mind to pick up the future? He had no idea the extent of a seers abilities but he was determined to find out.

Violet eyes pierced through the darkness as she looked upon the hulking form of Nyek's. His white fur and golden eyes the only things standing out in the darkness. The two of them, laying in front of the other looked much like night and day but in reality both of them straddled the line that others defined as evil and good. To them their persuits were for the greater good while others found their dreams cruel and evil. However the strategic mind looked at it the two of them were very much the same in personalities and dreams.
Ears twitched slightly as Nyek's question as the young Princess contemplated his words. Had she experienced such a thing before? "Yes, actually I have. It happened the night I met the God in the desert. I had been sleeping and dreamt of a great figure off the horizon. Upon awakening I had the strong urge to find this lion and found the God near the boundaries of the Firekin." She paused for a moment while she searched her memories for any other time. "That is the only other encounter I've had with these dreams that I can remember."
The white tuft of her tail appears to float in mid air as she raised her tail momentarily before slapping the grass with it. Her ebony fur melded with the darkness of the night with incredible ease causing her blood hued markings to appear like etheral wings belonging to some invisible creature. Following Nyek's lead Koka crossed her paws in front of her and rested her chin upon then. "Why do you wish to know so much about my dreams? They're just odd little occurances. Though...I must admit this last dream was quite intense."

The salmon tinted lord contemplated how to tell Koka what he thought, even to mention it would perhaps make her laugh. "There are things i this world Koka, you and I both know, that are unusual, strange even, complicated, things that even I do not understand. I wonder if you have met Angamika, if you would understand more what i wish to tell you, though i doubt it, his, power, is strange even to me." He glanced away for a moment watching one of the dark columbs which rose behind him. This place was full of mysteries, mysteries of humans of gods, of things which could twist the mind and bend the soul. "I beleive Koka that you carry a power to glimpse the future." His ears flattened as much as he hated to admit it, he knew that Dhamisa was infact pregnant by him, that she was young, and though not exactly a frail beast he doubted very much that she would carry more than one cub for him. If that cub was female, well, time would tell, females, he was simply cursed by their kind.
Licking his pale lips he allowed his gaze to once again fall upon Koka his eyes gracing that pitch black form her deep red 'wings' visable in the darkness. "You will speak to me again if you have any more of these dreams Koka, the future, it's a strange, wonderful, dangerous thing. I wish to know about it if I can, do you understand?" He raised a brow, this dream had yet to be proven, still, he could cover all bases, if it was not true, what did he loose? Superstition was important. Perhaps the beleif in this ability to see, would save his life one day?
Shrugging his shoulders the salmon tinted lord allowed his head to slip on to his paws and he yawned. He had not slept beneath the stars for a while, he enjoyed his 'creature comforts' too much when he was at home amongst his pride. "Sleep on it" he whispers those honey glazed orbs closeing. "The future can hold many wonderful things in store, if you'll accept them." even he felt that was a rather cryptic reply and a low chuckle escaped his maw.
