She had been in the lands for more than a month now. For what was suppose to be a horrid land, it wasn't. It was actually pretty nice. The female hadn't talked to any lions other than the queen and Mbali, but other than that, she didn't mingle.
Bari was grumpy more than usual. She hissed at every wanderer, swaying as she stumbled towards the water hole. The mocha female was growing everyday, and with each passing moment her moods were temperamental. She'd be sadistic one second, then the next would be filled with kindness.
Plopping down on the mushy ground, she curled up, watching her reflection. "What's wrong with me?" She murmured, closing her dark rimmed eyes.

Mbali was growing into a strong male, his mane was growings daily into a large brown mane, something that he was rather happy with. He was wandering at the moment, not really anywhere amazing, he was just wandering when he saw the lioness who hurt him but yet he still loved.
He watched for a while before laying down where he was, it was just too hard for him to go and talk to her, she was just so ungrateful!

The scent of the white male had entered the air. "Mbali?" She murmured quietly, as if he were right behind her. Glancning behind her, those teal blue eyes gave a sad look. He was always right behind her.. Sighing, the female curled further up. Why was adolescence so different then being younger!
Finally, the female uncurled herself, glancing around. There was the male, laying down a few feet from her. Walking up to him slowly, she plopped next to him, snuggling against his fur as her head rested on his paw.

Mbali had his eyes closed and didn't see Bari come over, in fact he didn't hear her either so he first knew about her when he felt her body against his.
He had opened his eyes in alarm to see her resting on his paws, this confused him, alot. He licked at her head lovingly, she came to him so he would snap at her if she suddenly did to him.

Bari purred quietly, her eyes closed as he licked her head. Opening her eyes slightly, she murmured, "You didn't come to me." She said it softly, almost to quiet to hear anything. "So I came to you." She said half heartidly, leaning into the white male. Oh yes, something was definetly wrong with the pridelander princess today.

Mbali listened, this wasn't his Bari, not that he was complaining this was a huge improvement to the old Bari but still.
"Are you feeling ok Bari?" He tilted his head slightly as he watched her, his beautiful Bari who wasn't actually his.

The mocha female shrugged her shoulders forward. "I'm fine." She said, looking at the male with a curious gaze. "Why do you ask?" Her eyes closed again. What would make Mbali ask if she was feeling ok today or not. Was she not Bari?
The mocha female purred again. "I'm sorry for what I said earlier." The adolescent crooned. "About the love comment you made."

"Your acting strange and apologizing when you wouldn't normally, I mean... I am not complaining but I am just a little worried Bari." He licked at her again nuzzling her, just taking the advantage of her being nice. He loved her.
"Bari... I still love you, your still beautiful, as always..." He smiled at her, yes he liked this Bari!

"You still love me after the horrible things I've said to you were?" The tealed eyed female watched him. "You're...so sweet." She said after a moment, leaning into him for a minute before rising. "I..." But she stopped herself. There was no way Bari was going to admit this to Mbali! But...this wasn't the real Bari so she'd do anything really at the moment.
"I...love you too.."

Mbali was shocked that she said it and he smiled.
"You won't be saying that in a few weeks though. You will be back to your old self in no time I am sure." He licked at her head and smiled, he would enjoy this time though. It was a rarity.

She pawed at him. "Why do you say that?" She grinned, mischeviously. "Unless you want me to go back and be old cranky Bari." She giggled, pouncing on the male in a light tackle. She wasn't heavy, so she wouldn't crush him or anything like that! She was actually...being playful?

Mbali smiled and laughed, "I love you Bari, however you are!"
He couldn't help but laugh as she jumped on him, for the first time, Bari was being a normal lioness, for the first time ever! At last!

"Mbali." Bari said, shortly after she pounced on the white paint male. She was snuggled ontop of the boy, tail flicking as her paws laid on either sides of the larger body. "You say you love me, but...how do I know you really do?" The female asked, with a mischeviously smile. "Would you like to /show/ me?" she giggled, moving off of the white pridelander.

Bari didn't speak. Man were males /really/ that stupid? She just giggled, walking over to Mbali, nipping at him. "I'll let /you/ take a gander at what that just might be." She smirked, flicking her tail as she walked from the adolescent. If he couldn't get it from that action, then daaaamn.
