Tomorrow, September 7th, will be my 3rd year on Gaia!

Oh, and I have a sub-forum now. It's #30 from the top; "Oldbies, Echangers, and Questors"! Keep in mind, you don't have to be any of those to post or anything ^^. Chit-chat is cool too!
You might find my sub-forum more useful if:

Total Profit (as in, money made apart from the values of the items): 23,000 gold
I am making somewhat of a profit through this raffle; however, I am not over-charging, or cheating anyone out of their money. All the numbers and items are right there, and you can easily look them up and do the math yourself. If you don't like the price, then don't buy a ticket. Don't tell me that I am "over-pricing" or "cheating" people. The people of this guild voted for that set ticket price. If I were to price the tickets to the exact amount of the items themselves, the tickets--in this case of there being 50 slots--would cost 2,040 gold; that's not much of a difference. I set that "Profit level" because I knew that this raffle would take a while for the tickets to fill, and therefore--as time passes--the items grow in value as well, therefore decreasing the profit I gain.
Now, please do not post or send any messages saying how I am tricking everyone here neutral .

I would like to hold a raffle for 3 different donation letters, and also randomly give away along with those a Mochi the Puppy item! There will be three winners (one for each letter), and I will randomly give away the Mochi to someone--reguardless of whether they buy a ticket--who has posted in this thread.
I will choose the winners using the Random Number feature, so it will be fair.
Here are the Donations Items to be raffled off (and I will show a display to prove ownership of them razz ):
First Prize: October 2005 Letter (has a choice of Coco Kitty Plushie or Wind Security Blanket)
Second Prize: June 2006 Letter (has choice of G Blade or Dark Halo)
Third Prize: August 2006 Letter (has choice of Angelic Microphone or Gwee the Dragon)
The event starts 9-7-06 at 7:00 P.M. EST, and it will end once all the ticket slots are filled!

-Main Raffle-
Once all of the slots are filled, I will post three times using the Random Number feature (random number generated; 1 through #), each post labeled with the prize. The number that is generated will correspond to the slot number, and whoever purchased that slot will be the winner of that item!
-Random Giveaway-
So this part will be fair, I will--again--use the Random Number feature. This time, however, I will post twice, doing two things:
1) The first post, using the RNF, will determine the page number that the person will be on. (i.e.: There are 34 pages in the thread, so I would use "1 through 34" with the RNF. The number generated will be the page used for the next step). This post will be labeled "Mochi: Page".
2) The second post, using the RNF, will determine the post number on that page that will get the prize; the person who has that post will win the Mochi. (i.e.: There are 15 posts in the thread, so I would use "1 thorugh 15" with the RNF. The number generated will be the post of the person who will win!). This post will be labeled "Mochi: Post".
Also, (since I just realized that the number could get my post or whatever), if the number generated my post number, then I will just do the process over until someone else wins... xd

arrow For the Main Raffle, each person can only win one item. If by some slim chance, the generator makes the same number twice, the random number for that item will be redone.
arrow For the Random Giveaway, anyone can receive the prize. ;D
arrow You may buy as many tickets/slots as you like! Please try to keep things fair, though.
arrow You may not buy these items directly from me; they are specifically for the raffle only.
arrow No begging, no bribing. (Though, I doubt this will happen).
arrow The results are final. The raffle will not be re-done after it's completion.
arrow When buying, please specify in this thread how many slots you are buying, and what numbers you would like.
