Kyetino vs. Raine
FIGHT! Airiza Cael Oh! And just so y'all know, Gel and I decided to have a no time-out rule on our match. Since, I sometimes can't get on the computer in three days. So if neither of use posts in three days, it really doesn't matter.
Anyways, see everyone later. Be back tomorrow.

Entering the arena, it seemed Raine had recovered fully from her minor injuries of the last battle. Her hair was shorter this time, clearly having been cut in between matches. It was shoulder length, parted just right on the side so that most of her hair hung in her right eye. (It's like Kadaj's hair on Advent Children, if you've ever seen it. o.o)Her hair was black, obviously naturally from the blue highlights that showed up in the sun.
Her attire was pretty simple. She wore simply black baggy pants that were as baggy as hakama pants, 'cept..They weren't hakama pants. They had rather large pockets running up and down the leggings of the pants, used for storing small items to use and such.
Her shirt was different than last time, upgraded to a black leather shirt which bore no sleeves. The collar extended up the neck slightly, but wasn't quite classified as a turtle-neck.
She wore simple black boots like last time, and simply black gloves that went up to her elbows. The fingertips of the gloves were literally sliced off so it could provide flexible movement of the fingers. She also wore two simple silver belts that criss-crossed in an 'x' formation at her waist, used of course to hold her pants up. Since they were..Kinda baggy and all that.
Lastly, she wore a simply silver necklace with an emblem bearing a silver dragon.
Her eyes were an interesting shade of gold with tiny blue specks dotting 'em, since she had partial heterochromia.
The woman simply walked casually into the arena, her hands in her pockets and her eyes staring at the ground.
The one thing about her that was interesting, was the fact that she wore absolutely no visible weaponry. Nothing. Her sword didn't appear to be anywhere near the area, so it appeared that the woman was entering completely unarmed.
She simply stood there, almost in the middle of the arena, casual stance and all..Waiting. Waiting for the one she was to fight to show.

A pillar of rock erupts from the ground, then immediately retracts again. In its place, however, is a dark-haired woman whose shades conceal her eyes and whose fashion sense seems to be very inspired by "goth slut".

Raine simply blinked at her new opponent, a look of boredom crossing her face briefly. She was never truly happy if she wasn't fighting..
Clearing her throat, her grey eyes fixed clearly on the odd woman standing before her, she spoke..
"Well, shall we get started?
Oh, and just to warn you...I'm not a merciful person, so if I see a chance arise to kill you, I won't hesitate to do so.
Otherwise, may our battle be..Interesting."
She didn't expect the girl to reply, most people didn't. So, Raine merely stood there, no stance assumed and still no weaponry anywhere around her to actually defend herself with.
She simply let her hands hang limply at her sides. She actually didn't care who made the first move, but she would wait and see if this girl would move first. If not, she would then advance.

Raine didn't respond, nor pay any attention to the girl's comment. If she saw that killing was necessary to win this battle, she would do so.
What she more focused her attention on, was the hand that the girl had outstretched.She didn't know what kinda stuff this girl did, but she would have to watch her closely and be on guard.
She never took an opponent lightly..That was how many die. They underestimate the threat standing before them, resulting in a cruel defeat.
Raine simply blinked, assuming this girl wasn't going to make the first move.
She sighed..
"I suppose you want me to make the first move..Since you're just..Standing there.
Fiiiiine.....I guess I'll do it."
With a look of annoyance, she abrubtly charged towards the girl, her right fist placed behind her back and her left hand which was open slightly remaining at her side. The speed that she would run at this girl was pretty fast, probably getting there before she'd have time to blink even twice. She still drew no weapons of any sort, since..She kinda wasn't wearing any.
Upon reaching the area of the girl, if her flighty steps were not disturbed somehow by her opponent, she would simply thrust out her left hand towards the girl, a stream of some sort of dark gunky substance that had formed in the palm of her hand shooting out towards her opponent's face from her palm. This dark energy would simply shoot at a high rate of speed towards her opponent's face, resulting in a face impalement if the girl didn't move or anything. Which, she really wouldn't have too much time..
But in all, Raine didn't expect her to actually get hit. If she did, Raine would be surprised. She didn't really want to kill her in the first hit anyhow, so in some way...She kinda hoped she moved. After all, Raine pretty much lived just to fight.

A smooth stone staff erupts from the ground, and Kyetino closes her right fist around it before placing it between Raine's left hand and her face, the dark energy ricocheting off and being deflected to the side, as Kyetino tilts the staff slightly inwards (toward the center line between the two of them) and her empty left hand darts out toward Raine's right shoulder.

Raine didn't let up just because her dark energy had been deflected. Immediately after the dark energy was deflected, Raine studied the girl's movements..Watching for some sign of retalitiation. Sure enough, it was there. When Kyetino's left hand shot towards her right shoulder, she reacted. Jumping backwards, she easily avoided the grab to her shoulder. She stepped back a few steps and with hardly any time passing, Raine began her next attack.
Her right hand stiffened, the dark energy forming a blackened aura around her right arm. The dark aura immediately shot towards the ground, it simply dissolving right into the ground itself.
What she had done, was simply place a large amount of dark energy into the ground.
About a second after doing so, her left hand reached into the pocket of her pants, pulling out a small needle-like object. A poisoned dart.
Pulling her left hand back and holding the needle loosely in her fingers, she tossed the needle towards the girl's neck, her accuracy proving to be very good. The needle was flying at a great amount of speed, giving her barely any time to defend against it.
If this needle should hit, it would immediately start spreading a lethal poison through her bloodstream. This poison would kill her in about a minute or so after being released into the bloodstream.
Meanwhile, the shadows beneath the ground began moving quickly throughout the ground, preparing to launch an attack towards the girl in the near future.

As Raine dodged Kyetino's lunge, Kyetino followed up by pulling back. It takes a movement of only a couple of inches for the stone staff to block the needle with no trouble. Kyetino takes two more steps back, letting the bottom end of the staff just barely touch the ground, leaving a trail in the sand.

Raine sighed loudly after her needle attack was dodged. She knew it wouldn't have been too hard to dodge it, but she at least figured the girl would try to strike back.
"Are you ever going to actually try to attack me..?"
She simply shook her head and once more advanced towards the girl at a steady pace. Reaching a range of about 2 feet from Kyetino, Raine would simply thrust out her right hand, a long dark stream of dark energy would shoot out towards the girl's face, looking to impale it.
Even if Kyetino should bring her staff around to try to deflect this dark string of energy, the energy would merely lock onto her as a homing device and follow her..Thus, if her staff got in the way, the energy would simply go around it to get to Kyetino.
At the same time as this was being performed, Raine's left hand had lazily reached into her pocket and pulled out three more of those small needles. She lazily placed the ends that weren't poisonous into her mouth, allowing the three needles to just be held there until needed.

With another quick movement of the staff, Kyetino makes a mark directly perpendicular to the line she'd drawn in the sand, and a smooth wall of rock rises from the ground in front of her. Four inches thick, seven feet wide, and eight feet tall, it hides Kyetino completely from Raine's sight. Either the energy would hit the wall, which will be resistant to the dark energy, or it will have to take a significant delay and go around the wall. Kyetino then steps back and kneels down, gripping the staff.

The dark energy would simply find a new route around the wall to get to its target, reaching her in approximately 2-3 seconds. It traveled rather fast, and even being slown down by the wall it would still travel to her that fast.
Previously, Raine had shoved a rather large amount of dark energy into the ground. The dark energy would now be directly under Kyetino, and even though Kyetino was hidden from sight, it wouldn't be a problem to attack her with this energy.
As Kyetino kneels, beneath her a sudden large force of dark energy would rise up in less than a second and without warning, two tendons of dark energy hopefully curling around her ankles, holding her securely in place. If this should happen, More dark energy would immediately rise up behind Kyetino, a whole wall of it about 9 feet high and 7 feet wide behind her.
Out of this wall, more than 200 dark energy spikes would form out of the wall and break away, flying at her at an extremely high speed. Since shadows travel as fast as light, it would be pretty hard to dodge this.
These spikes were also locked on as a homing device, and they would look to impale her in any way possible.
Also, to add to this..If the tendos should be successful in curling around her ankles, the dark energy from the tendons would start to slowly creep up her legs..

Kyetino's staff penetrates one inch into the ground, and a shell of rock erupts from the earth, completely enveloping Kyetino. Moreover, this earth would have one very important attribute...resistance to outside magics. In other words, she's effectively eliminated the threat of the energy going around the wall, as well as the new wall of energy behind her. Sure was a lot of energy her opponent wasted there, but it ain't Kyetino's problem. As for the energy creeping up her legs? The staff begins to slowly penetrate and sink deeper into the ground, and as it does so, a strong energy will slowly begin to work at disrupting and forcing Raine's energy out of the ground, purifying the earth.

Raine merely stood there, pulling the three needles out of her mouth, she looked grim and annoyed. Despite how much energy it seemed she had used up, she had quite a bit more.
She merely sighed, and shouted to her opponent..
"You know, you can attack me.
Why am I the only one who really seems to be doing any offense currently?"
Raine's eyes kept a lookout for any sign of movement from her opponent. Also, a thin film of dark energy crept up both of Raine's arms, surrounding her in a grey aura.
