The item world has changed alot since Dis:HOD. I mean, pirates, innocent towns, mystery gates, dark courts, and the land of carnage? OMG....but yea, i've just started the game. Clocked in at 10 hours so far...and the item world is kicking me so hard><

Anyways I didn't do the item world until after I finished the game once. Except for when I had to do it in the game.

To start it off, I think you should try to go into items weaker than your level, since the further in you go, the higher the level gets.

Also it helps to have one character that has all shoes and armor knights to throw your other guys around to get through the place quicker.

Good luck with that, it's satisfying equipping a leveled item. So worth the trouble.

PS. if you have stronger enemies bills passed, the item world also has stronger enemies. ninja

I'd say D1 was easier, because I had a very good Healer that knew every attack spell, AND that the attack spells in D1 were less sporatic in damage. Has anyone else noticed that the Wind spells in D2 just don't do any damage, even if the enemy is weak to wind?

D2 takes a little longer to get out of because of all the extra options, dark courts, mystery gates, etc. It takes me about ten minutes to get about ten floors in D1, where as in D2 it could take ten to twenty depending on the mystery gate frequency.
