Tenari bounded away from the Rose Wings Pride, humming a little tune as she moved away from her home. She wasn't sure where she was going, but after Lilac had filled her head with stories of a hidden oasis only a secret club of lions new about, she felt like she wanted to go for a walk. She wanted to find it!
Well.. Perhaps now was not the best time. A light rain had started, and the sky was already a swirl of lavender, purple, midnight blue and a faint sprinkle of stars. The sun was setting, and a cool mist was flowing over the Pride Lands.
"Oh well." Tena smiled to herself. "Its still a nice night for a walk..."

Yiska bounded away down a path, having agreed not to wander far from home since it was getting dark, but he didn't want to go home just yet. He always liked walking beneath the stars, seeing the moon rise. A swirl of fog started to curl around his feet, and he laughed as he watched it part with each step. Looking down though, he barely caught sight of Tenari before running into her. Falling over, he rolled a bit and giggled as he panted. "Hey, Tenari, sorry for running into you...."

Tenari giggled as well, shaking her head as she righted herself on her paws once more. She glanced at her sky-pelted friend and beamed, flashing dainty fangs.
"Yiska!" She giggled as she shook her head to free her little mane of a couple wildflowers. "What are you doing out here?"
She was glad to see him, as it was such a rare joy for her to run into any of her friends.

Yiska rolled over and shook the dirt off his fur before answering, "It's just such a nice evening, I didn't want to stay with the pride. Naida said it was okay as long as I didn't go too far away. What are you up to? Wanna play a game?"

"Walking." She replied, ducking her head. If she told him she was out to find a hidden oasis that only a secret group knew about, he'd probably think she was crazy.
She gave a little nod. "It is a lovely night. A game? What sort?"
All her friends new different games, had strange cusoms, and she always enjoyed learning something new.

Yiska sat down, and cocked his head as he thought for a moment. "Um...well, there's always tag...and wrestling to see who can pin who, but..." He let his voice drop as he thought to himself that she didn't seem like the type to want to wrestle and blushed slightly beneath his dark fur. "What's your favorite game?"

"Tag? Wrestling?" She echoed blankly. She suppossed she had seen games of tag.. "That's where someone's it right?"
At his questiong she gave a little blush and ducked her head. "I.. I haven't really played many games, so.. I don't really have a favorite."
She felt stupid saying it, but that was the truth. She'd never really played many games, rather went walking and exploring on her own.

Yiska nodded, "Yeah, you got it! That's right, and when your it, you have to chase someone else to tag them 'it'....It's lots of fun with alot of cubs around, but it can be fun with just two as well." Noticing her look of embarrasement, he placed a paw on her shoulder and said, "We could just walk together for awhile if you'd like that better. It'd be just as fun as any game."

Reid had gotten a lot better at his stalking, which was apparent by the fact that neither of the cubs had noticed him yet. It was shocking how calm he was being, though it took a lot for him to control his breathing around Tena. Finally deciding to come out of his hiding spot, he jumped out and ran towards Tena and tackled Yiska, rolling around until he was on top. Then looking over at the white cub, completely disregarding what his sister had taught him about keeping down his opponent.
"Hey!"

Yiska was taken by complete surprise, and didn't even have time to utter a squawk before he was rolling on the groud. Finally, he found himself pinned with Reid on top, and he couldn't help but start laughing. Pulling up his hind legs, he kicked Reid in the tummy just hard enough to send him rolling off so he could get to his feet. "Hey, yourself!" he giggled as he lay down, completely winded by the surprise welcome.

Tenari screamed in suprise and it quickly turned to laughter, as she eyed the boys flailing around. She leapt from forepaw to forepaw, tilting her head and laughing in her pure, lilting voice.
"REID!" She beamed, thrilled to see him again. "Have you been here the whole time!?"

"Oof!" Reid made a little bit of a sound, not trying to let off that the feet to the stomach had caught him. Luckily he had landed on his feet... Smiling widely he was glad that he had made Tenari laugh. It was one of the prettiest sounds he'd ever heard. Granted the only other female laughter he heard was from his mother when she was around and her sister after she had tackled him or had beat him at something.
"Yea-h. Wanted to suprise you two! And when it came to playing a game.. You always need more than just two to play!" He said excitedly, trying to be a little more on the brave side when it came to this visit with Tenari. After the last one, he had beaten it into himself not to studder.

Yiska trotted circles around Reid and Tenari, a grin plastered on his muzzle. "Games are always more fun with more cubs," he readily agreed.

Tenari smiled at her dear friends and glanced between the pair of them.
"So.. Are we going to play?" She asked, rather looking forward to it. She was glad Reid had just 'appeared', it made things more interesting. Considering the pair, she smiled at the thought of challenging them to Hide-And-Seek.
