I realize with the new school year upon us, many of us will not be here as often. Even so, it seemed as if the guild's activity went from a torrent to a trickle.
Also in regards to slowing down, the new gold ticker seems to actually inhibit gold gain rather than accelerate it. As far as my own studies have determined.

i think you are right on both accounts Rye. Guild activity eveywhere seem to be down and I am so not making gold as fast as I was....

I agree. Sadly, I have recently become adicted to Word Bump game here as well, so I spend my time doing that when I do get on...
which isn't too much lately.

I'm surprised how fast I'm getting gold! I think I had 32 for a journal comment and quite a bit for some private messages. I'm taking a leisurely pace though. Now that all the party topics are in the main forum I'm blaming the subforums for the guild activity slow down.

The new gold system starts off high but after a couple times of doing each the gold drops down a quite a rapid rate. I guess they are promoting people to expand throughout the site.
Just haven't had much to say in the topics really. Sometimes it seems like I am spamming or something. Not literally but it feels that way. More lurking than not 3nodding

Yes, it has been very slow as of late... except in this thread, of course.
As for the gold ticker, I haven't noticed much one way or another. Although I will admit to abusing mule accounts, I don't usually keep good track of how much I make a session with my main account

I haven't been getting on because of school and overall just not feeling like it. The slowed gold earning doesn't help, either. I might try spamming my mules' profiles when I get around to feeling like it.
