Vevina trotted beside her best friend Acajou in the forest, she had some how conviced him to come meet her family at Foalen's teepee. Vevina gave a cheerful smile, with his help she had started feeling better about the fact at one point she had a mate and he had left her. But With Acajou he made her feel so much better. She hadn't told her mother about Kasida cause he left, and she didn't think she needed to know. Vevina just placed distance between her and her family. But now she held her head up high and smiled at the world again.
"Hurry up!" she called quickening her pace, she really wanted her family to meet him. He was so nice and her best friend, although the more her heart mended the more she seemed to think he may become more than just her best friend. Vevina bucked playfully as they walked on the forest path.
Vevina was so happy to be going to see her family again. Vevina had missed them desprately and she now in the back of her mind think going farther away from them wasn't the best idea, it just made her lonely.

It was a lovely morning, the sun was warm upon Rose's withers and the breeze was ever so soft and sweet as it moved the grasses that lined the little clearning where the Shaman kept his teepee.
The chestnut mare happily cropped the bending waves of grass next to her mother as she listed to the flowing wods of a chant that rose from inside the teepee. She didn't understand the words, but they filled her with calm.

Acajou trotted nervously behind Vevina. "Are you sure about this Vevina? I'm....nervous." He admitted, flicking his carefully braided tail and glancing around, then going a bit faster to catch up to her. She sure was anxious to show him off to her family, but why? He laid his ears back and nibbled nervously upon a strand of his mane, trotting almost as fast as he could to keep up with her. He let the hair go and shook his head a little, adjusting his mane because one of the beads was causing his neck to itch.
"I'm sorry Vevina," He said, stopping for a moment, legs trembling. "I don't know if I can do this." He said, his voice shaky with his nervousness. "I'll say something wrong, or do something stupid." The mahogany stallion said quietly, glancing around again and then flopping into the dead leaves that littered the forest floor.

Vevina tuned back to an overly nervous Acajou "You will be fine." she smiled warmly "Just be yourself I know they will love you, you can meet my mother and my sister for sure, I don't exactly know weremy father is but I do know he is wih my other sister Thistle." Vevina said cheerfully. Vevina trotted over to his side and gave him a comforting and reassuring nuzzle on the neck "You will be fine" the gray paint mare repeted with another warm smile.
"I can't see you of all soquili doing something wrong," Vevina said blowing warm air on his muscular neck. She nudged him gently and started walking at a slower pace.

If Acajou had thumbs, he'd most definately be twiddling them right now. He gave a small cough and moved to nuzzle her back, then floowed after her as she started off again, still shaking slightly, though not as much as before. "If you say so...." He said, snorting softly and then going a little faster to keep up with what she thought was slow. "Maybe...they won't like me? Maybe....I'm not spotty enough for them? You know I've always been jealous of those spots of yours." He said worriedly, flicking his tail again and flicking his ears forward as his stomach knotted, the clearing that he knew Vevina's mother and sister were waiting for him in came to his sight.

Ayita stilled as her sensitive ears picked up what sounded like voices and the crunch of leaves from somewhere near by. Casting her head around slowly she tried to pin point the sorce of the sounds, but they whatever they were they out of sight.
The wind however brought her a familiar scent and she turned happily in the direction from wich it had come giving the unseen visitor a welcoming whinny.
Rose had gone quiet along with her mother, but hadden't picked up on the scent so she was surprised by the painted mare's glad call. Though she danced excitedly in place when she realized what her mother's action meant. "Oh they must be near by!" Rose whirled around trying to figure out what direction they might be coming from.
Ayia trained one dark eye dancing with amusement on her chestnut daughter while she waited for Vevina and her guest to appear.

"You are fine" she said strongly yet in a comforting way "My father didn't have any spots." Vevina told him with a smile "Your worries are missplaced and you are worrying far too much Acajou." she said vevina reared and gave a loud whinny of her own upon hearing her mother's call. She had forgotten how sharp her mothers ears were. She smiled happily she missed her family so much.
