Faidrae held the little girl closely as she pushed through the manor door. She had been rather absent from the place since recieving Eva, not that one could really blame her. It took a lot to adjust to a new life.
Now she was hopefuly of introducing the charming little girl to a new playmate or two. She seemed painfully shy, even at her tender age.

Flitch was perched on the main entrance stairs to the mansion today, his small face unsurprisingly hidden behind a book. The library just hadn't appealed to him as a place to read in today, and so he had finally chosen a perch on the stiars, of all places. He hadn't much been up for reading today, but alas, since there had been no other Sin' around today, it turned out he had no choice but to read said book. Oh well. At least here he could easily spot anyone coming in or out. Maybe a friend was to come, or maybe even someone new!
At the sound of a door opening, his large blue eyes peered up from above the book, seemingly magnified by the glasses he wore. Ooh! A new one. He didn't recognize the woman, nor did he recognize the baby.
"Hello," he said cheerily, floding the book shut and resting it on his lap. "Are you new? I've never seen either of you before..."

Faidrae nodded, suddenly more than glad to have come. This young boy looked like a calm child. She has been rather worried about finding a less ... agreeable Sin' lurking about.
" Yes, we are new, " she smiled happily " I'm Faidrae, and this is Evangelica. Who might you be ? "
She gave him another appraising look, taking into stock how his hair seemed to almost ... shimmer. He must have some relation to water, she thought.
Eva looked at him with big green eyes, not sure how to react to this new stranger. The quiet tot had no desire to cry, something she did rarely, but she certianly wasn't burbling either.
Not that that was strange iehter. She was an oddly quiet child.

"Flitch," he replied with a happy nod. "It's nice to meet you, Miss Faidrae and Evangelica."
Setting his book down beside him, Flitch rose and bounced down the steps so that they could talk more easily. He also admittedly wanted a closer look at the baby girl, since he couldn't get too good a look from his current perch. He peered curiously at the girl, large blue eyes gleaming with interest.
She had pretty eyes. So big and green! Flitch grinned at her. "She's quiet, isn't she?" he commented, before glancing up at Miss Faidrae. "What type of food is she, if you don't mind my asking?"

Nodding again, she lowered the baby so Flitch could see her more easily. " Yes, very quiet. She hardly makes a noise ! "
A strand of platinum blonde hair had strayed into the little girl's eye and she was no staring fixedly at it, as many babies were prone to. Faidrae brushed it aside, revealing her bright green eyes and apple-like cheek marking.
" She of the apple persausion. I'm guessing that's where her eyes come from. Very apple green, I think. " Beaming she looked down at her daughter.
" And you are ... ? "

"Mmhmm," the blue-haired Sin' murmured in agreement, looking at her eyes. "And her hair looks kind of like an apple's insides, don;t you think?" Well, at least he thought of it that way. She was very apple-ish indeed. He thought it was kind of cool.
When asked what he was, he grinned and held up his hand, displaying the thin translucent webbing that filled in the spaces between his fingers. "Fish," he replied. "That's why a lot of the little kids call me fishie," well, not a WHOLE lot, per se, but it certainly seemed to be his nickname from most of the younger Sin'aeis he'd come across in the past. He actually rather liked it, too, to be honest...

" I've never thought of it that way before," Faidrae inspected her daughter's hair in this new light, and came to the same conclusion. Very apple like. Well, that made sense after all.
" Ah! That must be fun. If I was to be an element I think fish would be very near the top of my list. " She smiled genially at the young boy.
Eva still seemed a little unsure of her. She blinked her large eyes, as if considering what she though about him. She shifted a little in Faidrae's arms, to get a better look. Of course, it was a small shift. She wasn't exactly a squirmy baby.
" So Flitch, can you tell me about anything interesting in the manor ? Something Eva might like, or something you like ? " She felt that the boy probably had suitable tastes. It was always good to know where the interesting rooms were.

Flitch returned the smile, responding to the question with a shrug. "Oh, I dunno. You can find most anything here in the mansion. I think it's just kinda magical like that. But I know there's a library down that way..." he indicated one of the several hallways branching from the main entry hall, "And there's a big aquarium upstairs, as well as some toy rooms..."
He paused, nibbling on a fingernail as he thought. What else...? "Oh! There's a big hedge maze out back, as well as a large garden if you like that. It's one of those places where they have something for everyone, y' know?"
