[Wolves of the Sea] Captain

In the nothern lands of the open sea, the water is cold and harsh. If there are tropical storms, this is the area they will hit the hardest. It isn't very deep either, not as deep as the southlands, not even close. If you venture here, be sure there is no storm about to play its wrath upon the sea.

There it was, floating in the water. Sandy hadn't seen one for quite some time since they tended to stay away from this area. Sandy spyhopped and turned in a slow circle. While doing this, he was able to see the strange creatures that crawled along the boat a little bit better. There's quite a few of them this time, he realised, the biggest number I've ever seen. It must be a large pod. They all seemed to be looking at him and pointing in his direction. He reentered the water and floated just below the surface.
"They always get so excited!" he said to himself, amused. He approached the surface again and rolled before diving back down into the depths. He clicked a happy note to help himself get orientated. "I wonder why?"

Not far away from where the speckled whale was, swam another male, this one watching the strange ship from afar. He'd seen them before, but never quite this close. Lifting himself to the surface he let out a breath of air, the mist spouting from his blow-hole into the skies above.
The curious whale had always wondered what those strange things were on board, and why they sometimes had the clicking light machines in their hands. Tail-slapping the cool water, Mvushi dove downwards, twirling through the ocean happily.
The adult glanced around at the happy click, wondering who might be out there besides himself. A smile forming on his lips, the orca let out one in reply.

Ahh! So he had more company than he realized. Sandy's eyes told him another male was swimming nearby. He must've been interested in the boat as well. It was probably a good thing this was one of the harmless boats. Sandy had seen what the creatures on board could do to whales much bigger than he. This one appeared to be more interested in catching fish and seals than whales.
Sandy sang a reply to Mvushi in his squeaky, orca song. "Good morning! Curious things, boats are, aren't they?" He rolled once more and drifted towards the other male. "As long as they aren't dangerous."

"Boats? Is that what those are then?" The oddly colored orca cooed back, letting out a small jet of bubbles from his blow-hole, cocking his large head slightly in curiousity to the appearance of the sprinkled male.
"Dangerous? How could they be that dangerous? They merely float atop the water., and sometimes move along, but still.." Mvusi squeaked lightly, blinking. The chill of the water was still setting upon him, like a shock from the warm tropics he was used to. Trying to get his blood circulating easier, the orca swam in a circle before settling down once more.
