<> AMP Revision Ver. 1.4 <>
Sat, August 12, 2006.

The origional AMP was unclear on it's definitions
and descriptions. This is because it was designed
only to raise awareness about the things the writers
of the origional AMP disliked in the actions of other
role players. In addition the Anti-Munch Project also
included a number of terms that had absolutly nothing
to do with godmoding violations what so ever.

As a result the origional AMP was just a list of complaining
that could not be used as an effective or valuable tool,
or shield to defend role players and RP threads from
godmoding abuse. This is because the origional AMP
was focused alot less around godmoding and the real
problems at hand than it really should have been.

For this reason I have revised the Anti-Munch Project
into a database easily usable as a defence agenst
the violations of godmoders. Clear, crisp, decisive,
defining, and to the point, any beginner can read
this revised guideline and know how not to godmod,
how to identify when someone else godmods, and
how to address their godmoding without difficuly when
they are forced to make the violations of a godmoder
appairant.

Aimbotting Revised: AMP
Quote from the AMP:
"Aimbotter: Especially annoying when using NPCs, as NPCs don't get to argue about munch.
Munch Rating: 7
A: Three hundred seventy of my trained assassin gymnasts crest the hill, sight you, and rush toward you.
B: Luckily, I have three hundred sixty-nine bullets in my chain gun! I quickly mow them all down, each taking a single bullet to the head, and peg the last one with a rock in the sternum."

~*~Aimbotting Revised~*~

Clairifying aimbotting: What is aimbotting exactly?

The complaint about aimbotting and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Aimbotting does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, flawless accuracy.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obbssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of not missing in a situation
where interfering elements, evasive actions of targets,
and personal imperfections should always render perfect
accuracy impossible especially over an extremely large
range of targets
.

Q: When am I aimbotting?

A: You are aim botting when you hit a target with
perfect precision and accuracy, without using your
best judgment and honesty to "penalize" your self,
or limit your abilities in accuracy, for reasons as
realistic as involunteery, and instictual opponent
evasiveness, interferance due to elements found
in the role play's enviornment, and personal flaws
in accuracy that can even cause your character
to miss on his or her own.

Q: How do I avoid aimbotting?

A: You avoid aim botting by missing until your
opponent has run out of excuses to not be
hit by your attack, short of when your
opponent godmods to evade. (this subject
crossed later in the revision.)

Q: When is it alright to hit my opponent?

A: It is perfectly alright to hit your opponent,
under the following circumstances.

1.)When your opponent(s) do not take the measures
nessessary to present them selves as difficult enough
targets to hit.

2.)When your opponent is unaware of your underway
attack and immenent offences, or when they are off guard
or caught by surprize.

3.)When your opponent is restrained or disabled from
avoiding being hit.

4.)When you attack your opponent in a method where
it is circumstantially impossible for them to avoid being hit
completely. (Because there are instances in combat where
being hit is unavoidable. this topic crossed later in the revision.)

Q: How do I know when someone else is aimbotting?

A: You know someone else is aimbotting when they roleplay
or emote a perfect shot or hit on a target that they have not
identified as an induvidual. This means someone who is not
aimbotting will take the time to identify each target as an
individual or by it's personal location.

Example of hitting every target without aimbotting:
I throw a clip into the air with my left hand and raise my
hand gun with my right, while the clip is in the air, I fire
on one of your guards sent at me 30 feet away, and hit
him unexpectedly in the head, he suddenly falls and trips
another guard, whom I shoot while he is down so that
he does not get back up, and when another guard stops
to look I take the oppertunity to shoot him as well, for
he stands only three feet away from his fallen comrades..

The following guards are now at 20 feet still charging me
I randomly fire again and again passing my range of
fire over them hitting many of them well enough to stop
and slow them, but not with the leathal accuracy that
I could get from aiming at them one at a time. Then
I drop the empty clip, catch the clip I threw into the
air, and I reload my gun in time to shoot a guard
on my furthest right in the face as he closed in on
about 10 feet, followed by shooting the next closest
guard who is now leading the charge in the leg,
because he begun to hide his face behind his shield..

Then I toss my gun into my left hand and fire continually
spraying the second wave randomly, injuring many of
them too badly to continue running.. I unlatch the empty
clip toss my gun up grab it by the nose and hit the last
guard of yours in the head with the handle, knocking him
out.. making him the lucky one of the bunch..

Example of an actual aimbotting godmoder:
Luckily, I have three hundred sixty-nine bullets in my chain gun! I quickly mow them all down, each taking a single bullet to the head, and peg the last one with a rock in the sternum.

The difference between these two examples is only realism.
One was realistic enough to be appreciable and enjoyable..
The other was a pathetic excuse to do away with a potentially
leathal situation as soon as possible in order to achieve victory.

In the first example, even though all of the guards are undone,
the roleplayer of the first example still does not know
if the guards are still hostile, because they must be reguarded
as real people. There may be a list of those guards who may
not have broken morale, or may feel vengeful, and want to
still attack.

This role player of the first example has to take this into
consideration because it was impossible to address each
guard with enough aim to deal them all leathal shots, and
still remain with enough time to not be apprehended or
killed by the guards.

The second example is godmoding because it's so near
impossible to instantly hit over 100 guards in the head
with a weapon that was materialized from no where,
and theres no garantee that it's light enough to be lifted,
or that all and every guard can be shot before they
are close enough to stop the godmoder from shooting.

It is realistic to assume that in some cases..
...numbers of NPCs are just impossible to do away
with them all at one time...

If you are to try an do so, you are to do so by
penalizing your aim, while using the limited resources
available to your character that are stated before
hand in a profile...

Otherwise....you are godmoding because you are
aimbotting among other things.

Gaseous Snake Revised: AMP
Quote from the anti-munch project:
"Gaseous Snake: A combination of McFly and Lucky Irishmen. They will often attempt to alter the RP right after the fairly playing RPer has made a post that will see the Snake's demise. They are not, however, as desperate as McFlys in what they change.
Munch Rating: 6
A: I walk to the door and open it.
B: Being a fellow with a bit of foresight, I hooked that doorknob to a car battery an hour ago. You're thrown across the room."

~*~Gaseous Snake Revised~*~

Clairifying Gaseous Snake: What is gaseous snake exactly?

The complaint about gaseous snake and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Gaseous Snake does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, the ability to do things,
before it is too late in situations where it is already too late.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of preforming an action,
to take advantage of an oppertunity that has already
ended too long ago to be put to use, in the way the
godmoder tries to use it.
.

Q: When am I being a gaseous snake?

A: You are being a gaseous snake when suddenly
say or describe that you did something in the past,
when it has not actually happened, and it is too
late for that action to accur.

Q: How do I avoid being a gaseous snake?

A: By not stating suddenly that you did
something that you never actually did.

Q: How do I know when someone else is
being a gaseous snake?

A: You will know when someone else is being
a gaseous snake because they will suddenly state
that they have done something in the past that
was never in a previous action or post.
In other words they try to edit the past with
a recent post and speak in past tense as if
the incident already accured.

Godmod Revised: AMP
Quote from the anti-munch project:
"Godmoder: A rather broad term, basically covering a character/roleplayer who can overcome any situation. They will often have flashy powers, ignore just about anything you say and do, and somehow manage to be completely unaware of their own unfairness (otherwise known as stupidity).
Munch Rating: 8
A: Now that you're strapped to the end of a naval cannon, I fire it.
B: Whoosh! I nimbly dodge, somehow forgetting the fact that I'm restrained by three-hundred-pound chain!"

~*~Godmoder Revised~*~

Clairifying Godmoder: What is godmode exactly?

The complaint about godmoder and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Godmode does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, complete or
nearly complete immunity to all of the
actions of the other role players, and/or the ability
to bypass the abilities of the other role players as
if they did not exsist, and/or otherwise preform
actions that should be impossible.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of preforming one or
more actions that continue without consequence,
responce, or reaction to the actions of other
roleplayers, or completely bend or break the rules
of the commonly agreed on and understood
limitations set by the thread creator.
.

Q: When am I being a godmoder?

A: You are being a godmoder when:

1.) You do not respond, compensate,
react to, or suffer from the actions of
other role players, as if they never stated.
And ignoring the significance of current
situations.

2.) You preform any other of the actions
defined here in this revision of the AMP or
within the list of the origional AMP.

Q: How do I avoid being a godmoder?

A: By not ignoring the actions of other
role players, and by properly responding
to the significance of each situation
presented in the role play senarios.

Q: How do I know when someone else is
being a godmoder?

A: You will know when someone else is being
a godmoder because:

1.) They will continue to act as if nothing
has changed even when you preform an
action that would normally effect
them, and they will act as if no situation is
dangerous, easily over coming every turning
point. You will feel as if you had been ignored.

2.) They will only be hurt up until
a cirtain degree, and continue to fight
when they should have died or loss.
You will notice this form of godmoder,
describe how badly they are hurt,
and show how close to defeat they are,
yet will survive everything you throw at them.

Min-Maxer Revised: AMP
Quote from the anti-munch project:
"Min-maxer: Not a lot of those running around here, thank goodness... that's more of a DnD-style paper game issue. Their own strength:weakness ratio is off the charts.
Munch Rating: 8
A: I've successfully broken into the facility which gave you your incredibly 1337 power armor. Now I pull up the file on it. What does it say about weak points?
B: The metal of my armor is... um... allergic to praying mantis urine."

~*~Min-Maxer Revised~*~

Clairifying Min-Maxer: What is min-maxer exactly?

The complaint about min-maxing and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Min-maxing does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, an advantage that
does not come with a cost or penalty when used.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of giving them selves
or making them selves a source of power(s) that
has no cost or difficulty to use, or number of
uses available that go down, or perhaps infinite
stamina to use their advantage to no end and
continually. Even if a godmoder is using their
advantage without a delay of some sort before the
next time they can use that advantage they are
min-maxing
.

Q: When am I being a min-maxer?

A: You are being a min-maxer when
you design a source, or a character
that is a source of advantage, that does
not come at a cost that must be payed
for putting that advantage to use, and/or
when you use an advanatge without a
down time suffered before it's next usage.

Q: How do I avoid being a min-maxer?

A: By taking the time to think about more
than just the advantages you want a character
to have, and thinking what it will cost your
character to make use of these advantages at all.

Q: How do I know when someone else is
being a min-maxer?

A: You will know when someone else is being
a min-maxer because they will
have an advantage that makes their
activities significant, and it will not cost
them or suffer them anything to put
those advantages to use, and they will
not have anything to sacrafice for the cause
of using the advantage.

Obvious Oaf Revised: AMP
Quote from the anti-munch project:
"Oblivious Oaf razz eople who don't explain how what they are using, works. Now this is fine to an extent; you're not expected to know the exact functioning procedure for a gravity-spewing railgun, but at least give a vague idea behind the mechanism. [Suggested by Colonel_Commissar_Gaunt]
A: Hahahahahaha my ultra shield deflects any projectile weapon
B: ((Dude, how does that work? I need some info))
A: ((Ahhhhh uhhhhhh.......it....uses......some.......weird substance......that like...........does.....something......and then it like.....deflects all projectiles! Thats how it works, its not like I never explain my gear its just that I just came up with that explanation now, I mean I just had trouble explaining it."

~*~Obvious Oaf revised~*~

Clairifying Obvious Oaf: What is obvious oaf exactly?

The complaint about obvious oaf and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Obvious oafing does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, advantages that
they can not give an explaination of why the
advantages work or exsist, nore an explaination
of why they have them.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of using advantages
that they think or know can lead them to victory
without knowing a legitimate amount about those
advantages, leaving other role players at a
disadvantage, unable to judge whether the
advantage is being used legally or not, and lack
of information to know of how to oppose the
threat. Needless to say any un-opposable threat,
is godmoding
.

Q: When am I being an obvious oaf?

A: You are being a obvious oaf when
you design a source, or a character
that is a source of an advantage, that does
not include an explaination of why the
advantage origionates from anywhere,
(you or something you have) how the
advantages work when used, how they
are triggered into working, and what
the nature(s) of the advantages are.

Q: How do I avoid being an obvious oaf?

A: By taking the time to think about the
reasons why you should be able to get
the advantages you want from a character
or possession a character has, the origion
of the advatages, the nature(s) of the
advantages, like how and why they work,
and how you trigger them into activation.

Q: How do I know when someone else is
being an obvious oaf?

A: You will know when someone else is being
an obvious oaf because they will use advantages
that they know nothing, or not enough about
in terms of why and how they work, and why they
are legally origionating from their character or from
their character's possessions.

Puppet Master Revised: AMP
Quote from the anti-munch project:
"Puppetmaster: Another overly common occurrence. They basically take control of others' characters, often to extremes. It is usually ok to make tiny little changes to another person's character; for example if your own character launches a fireball at a tree, it is safe to assume that other characters will probably watch the tree get hit, and thus you can comment on that.
Depending upon the extent to which they puppetmaster, this is not necessarily a form of munching.
Munch Rating: 4 - 9
A: I step carefully into the room, peering around for occupants.
B: Suddenly a dragon pokes you in the eye. You run screaming from the room, whereafter you go home, make a pickle sandwich, and call your mother to cry about how she ruined your life."

~*~Puppet Master revised~*~

Clairifying Puppet Master: What is puppet master exactly?

The complaint about puppet master and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Puppet mastering does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, advantages over
the whole being and behavior of another role player's
character.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of controlling another
role player's character in complete instead of just
in part, as if it were their very own character
.

Q: When am I being an puppet master?

A: You are being a puppet master when
you take control of another role player's
character on a scale where you should
only control your own.

Q: How do I avoid being an puppet master?

A: By recognizing the difference between
the small amount you should control the
characters of others, and the large amount
you should not control the characters of
ther role players.

Q: How do I know when someone else is
being a puppet master?

A: You will know when someone else is being
a puppet master because they will use take
advantage of someone else's character and
make it go places and do things that the
actual owner of that character should be
responsible for animating, and deciding
in their own character.

Quaker Revised: AMP
Quote from the anti-munch project:
"Quaker: They can magically 'spawn' anything. Having a character which can retreive things from pocket dimensions is not an excuse, unless said pocket dimension has a previously listed inventory which can be checked.
Munch Rating: 9
A: My character is wearing a form of armour only vulnerable to a drop of water from a holy well in South Dakota.
B: *He pulls out the vial of water from a holy well in South Dakota* "I don't know why I always carried this, but I knew it would come in useful one day."

~*~Quaker revised~*~

Clairifying Quaker: What is quaker exactly?

The complaint about quaker and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Quaker does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, advantages by
allowing them to create any item they need or
want at any time.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of creating, spawning,
and retreiving objects and items that did not exsist
prior to the godmoder's desire
.

Q: When am I being an quaker?

A: You are being a quaker when
you suddenly have an item ilegally
without a reason why, and that you
did not have before, especially when
that item or object did not exsist before
you had it.

Q: How do I avoid being an quaker?

A: By recognizing you should not just
suddenly have any object or item.

Q: How do I know when someone else is
being a quaker?

A: You will know when someone else is being
a quaker because they will suddenly have an
item or object with no origion, that was not
origionally in their character profile or inventory.

Speed Hacker Revised: AMP
Quote from the anti-munch project:
"Speedhacker: One of the worst we have to deal with.
Munch Rating: 10
A: I walk to the door and step outside.
B: Suddenly, twelve men grab you, carry you off to my secret lair in Tibet, and torture you for weeks. When you finally die from the agony, we bury you in the frozen wastes. Hundreds of years later, arhcaeologists discover your frozen body and try to determine if you're another Lucy."

~*~Speed Hacker revised~*~

Clairifying Speed Hacker: What is speed hacker exactly?

The complaint about speed hacking and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Speed hacking does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, advantages by
allowing them to create a series of events and place
them into reality as if they happened at speeds too
fast for other role players to interviene or counter act.
This is accomplished by creating more than one or
two events at a time in a single post. Unless for other
reasons made legal, no post should retain more than
3 posts, and without puppet mastering, speed hacking
is not always that bad of an offence. As long as the
speed hacker is not auto hitting or puppet mastering,
the offence of this form of godmoding can be over
looked sometimes.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of causing a series
of events to take place at speeds they normally
could not, as if hitting fast forward without the
other role players being able to respond by
putting all of these events in one post
.

Q: When am I being an speed hacker?

A: You are being a speed hacker when
you, in one post, state that more than
one things happened without supplying
the other role players with the proper
oppertunities to respond to your actions.

Q: How do I avoid being an speed hacker?

A: By recognizing that you should enter
only one action a post unless otherwise
legallized.

Q: How do I know when someone else is
being a speed hacker?

A: You will know when someone else is being
a speed hacker because they will suddenly have
a post up where they did two or more things and
if you can respond, you'll have to respond to
all of those actions.

Trinity Revised: AMP
Quote from the anti-munch project:
"Trinity: The knowledge downloaders, the omniscient Billy Joe-Bobs. [Also known as Zoicites]
Munch Rating: 8
A: My character was raised by a gang leader in the harsh conditions of a slum. From this, he learned to wield small firearms fairly effectively and has limited driving abilities.
B: My character was born on a remote jungle island and can fly or drive anything and use any gun with perfect aim."

~*~Trinity revised~*~

Clairifying Trinity: What is a trinity exactly?

The complaint about trinity and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Trinity does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, advantages by
allowing them to use a possibly limitless list
of abilities that allow them to do anything they
want are need unrealisticly, even if those
abilities are not located or stated on their
character's profile.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of using advatanges,
abilities, powers, skills, and talents, that they did
not have priorly, or can not have due to nature
of the character they are role playing.
.

Q: When am I being a trinity?

A: You are being a trinity when
you, give your self the abilities
you suddenly want or need even
though your character was never
intended to have them before, or
should not be intended to have them
at all.

Q: How do I avoid being an trinity?

A: By recognizing that you are
responsible for knowing what
abilities and powers and skills your
character should and should not have,
and that you should not suddenly
add any new ones because you want
or need them.

Q: How do I know when someone else is
being a trinity?

A: You will know when someone else is being
a trinity because they will suddenly have
access to abilities, skills, and/or powers that
you don't feel they should have based on
the data that you might understand about
their character.

Twink Revised: AMP
Quote from the anti-munch project:
"Twink: Sometimes allowed in certain RPs. If the RP isn't specifically about invincible deities and such, a simple rule is that if the strengths aren't counterbalanced with relatively equivalent weaknesses (or if the reasoning behind the phenomenal cosmic powers isn't eloquently and appropriately explained), you're dealing with a twink.
Munch Rating: 10
A: A punch coming, eh? Well, seeing as you're a seven-year-old child and I'm riding in a twenty-meter mecha, I won't bother dodging.
B: Fooled you! I have the power to DESTROY EVERYTHING when I punch it! I'm just like an X-Man, and therefore require you to suspend all logic when RPing with me! Oh, and I have the power to steal your girlfriend, too.
"

~*~Twink revised~*~

Clairifying Twink: What is twink exactly?

The complaint about twink and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Twink does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, a scale of power
that is not matched by an equal, or nearly equal
penalty, in terms of ease of use and abuse,
direct effectiveness, or efficiency.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of giving them selves
or making them selves a source of power(s) that
has not equivelant downfall, drawback, or weakness
to even out the power balance for means of respectable
realistic fairness, and consideration towards the other
role players.
.

Q: When am I being a twink?

A: You are being a twink when
you design a source, or a character
that is a source of advantage, that does
not include an equal or nearly equal
disadvantage that is as easy to abuse
as your source of advantage is.

Q: How do I avoid being a twink?

A: By taking the time to think about more
than just the advantages you want a character
to have, and thinking about the disadvantages
the character should have as well.

Q: How do I know when someone else is
being a twink?

A: You will know when someone else is being
a twink because they will
have an advantage that makes their
activities significant, and makes victory
a difficult accoplishment for other role
players, without there being a reasonable
or equally effective way to disable or
bypass that advantage.

Impulsive Twitch Revised: AMP
Never before covered in the origional AMP:
"Impulsive Twitch: Also known as Jack be nimble, and bouncing toon.
Especially annoying when using NPCs, as NPCs don't get to argue about munch. These kinds of godmoders will try to evade anything potentially
harmful to no end, or limitation.
Munch Rating: 7
A: Three hundred seventy of my trained assassin gymnasts crest the hill, sight you, and throw a sky darkening cloud of shurikens at you.
B: Luckily, I have the speed of my favorite cartoon ninja, and by pushing the near non-exsistant limits of my body and mind, I can dodge every
single throwable aimed at me, even though theres not enough space inbetween each shuriken for me to not get hit!"

~*~Impulsive Twtch Revised~*~

Clairifying Impulsive Twitch: What is impulsive twicth exactly?

The complaint about impulsive twitch and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Impulsive twitching does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, flawless evasion.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obbssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of evading in a situation
where interfering elements, accuracy of attackers,
and personal imperfections should always render perfect
evasion impossible especially when an extremely large
range of enemies attacks them
.

Q: When am I impulsively twitching?

A: You are impulsively twitching when you dodge an attack
with perfect evasion, without using your best judgment
and honesty to "penalize" your self, or limit your abilities
to evade, for reasons as realistic as well trained or realitively
good opponent accuracy, interferance due to elements found
in the role play's enviornment, and personal flaws in evasion
that can even cause your character to fail to evade on his
or her own.

Q: How do I avoid impulsively twitching?

A: You avoid impulsively twitching by
dodging until your opponent has removed
enough of your excuses to not be hit by their
attack, short of when your opponent godmods
to hit you. (this subject crossed earlier in the revision.)

Q: When is it alright to dodge my opponent?

A: It is perfectly alright to dodge your opponent,
under the following circumstances:

1.)When your opponent(s) do not take the measures
nessessary to increase their chances of hitting you
as a primary target.

2.)When your are perfectly aware of their underway
attack and immenent offences, or when you are not
off guard or caught by surprize.

3.)When you are not restrained or disabled, so that
you can avoiding being hit.

4.)When your opponent is not attacking in a method where
it is circumstantially impossible for you to avoid being hit
completely. (Because there are instances in combat where
being hit is unavoidable.)

Q: How do I know when someone else is an impulsive twitch?

A: You know someone else is an impulsive twitch when
they roleplay or emote a perfect evasion of an attack,
that they have no right to dodge due to realism or circumstances.
This means someone who is not impulsive twitch will take the hit,
and corresponding consequences, when faced with a situation where:

1.) They are trapped and can not avoid the oncoming attack.

2.) They are disable and can not avoid the oncoming attack.

3.) They are off guard, or unaware of the oncoming attack.

4.) The accuracy of the attack or circumstances of the attack

Anonymous Oaf Revised: AMP
Never before covered in the origional AMP:
"Anonymous Oaf: Also known as General Specific,
Constant Oust, Constant Oaf, and Common Statistic.
Causes the majortiy of misunderstandings and conflicts in
godmoding arguments. These godmoders will leave out
important information concerning details and descriptions,
as well as measurements and parameters in their posts, either
convieniently on purpose, to leave an opponent in the dark, or by accident.
Munch Rating: 8
A: Shoots a fire ball at you, six feet in diameter, and 4 feet in length,
traveling at 80mph. as soon as I land eight from from you, the fire ball
traveling with enough force to knock over 716lbs. The fire ball is roughly
420 degrees hot, and will explode on contact into a 612 degree explosion.
The fireball also retains minor homing capabilities.
B: Counter attacks with an ice ball, thats pretty cold and stuff that
hits your fire ball nullifying it completely even though it may not
have been big, fast, accurate, dense, forceful, or cold enough to do so.
I have not stated the erruptive nature of my ice attack so, chances
are it does not have one, but I'm going to silently obligate you to
assume it does so that you know the explosion should be nullified too.
(( I'm one of the upper league role players! aren't I so elite?! =D ))

~*~Anonymous Oaf Revised~*~

Clairifying Anonymous Oaf: What is anonymous oaf exactly?

The complaint about anonymous oaf and the reason it is
considered godmoding, is because it strips too much
realism from the fantasy for it to be worthwhile.

Anonymous oafing does this by giving the godmoder who
is abusing this style of cheating, anonymous details, and
unknown parameters, that prevents the other roleplayer(s)
from having sufficient data to work with during the role
play.

The godmoder commiting this act of "creative writing
vandalism" is simply so obssessed with victory over
the threatening situation at hand that they take the
godmoding to the extreme of leaving out valuable
data of their movements and actions, in order to
make posts in the least amount of time, and with
the least amount of effort, as well as not allow
their actions and movements to be acted on,
manipulated, or strategicly used agenst them
.

Q: When am I anonymous oafing?

A: You are an anonymous oaf when you make
a post that contains actions and movements that
do not describe paramters as significant to another
roleplayer's re-actions to your posts, such as; speed,
distance, weight, time, direction/velocity, force,
hieght, width, length, nature, and behavior.

Q: How do I avoid anonymous oafing?

A: You avoid anonymously oafing by
including significant parameters that are
needed to describe your post in detail.
This means including enough detail in your
post so that (just by reading your post)
other roleplayers can imagine exactly
(or close enough to) what it is that happened
in your post, to the exstent that they can see
the events and subject matter in their "mind's eye".
It is this mutual understanding that avoids conflicts.

Q: When should I know to include a parameter?

A: You know to include a paramter when you make
a post where your movements and actions could
raise questions because your posts don't explain
exactly what it is you want other roleplayers to
know you are doing. You should continue to include
parameters such as speed of movement, distance
and location, wight of mass, direction and velocity,
force applicable, sizes such as; hieght, width, and length,
sizes such as rediuses, and diameters, as well as
natures, and behaviors, until there are no questions
to possibly be asked about your post's movements
or actions or until, you have described so well
your movements and actions, that fellow roleplayers
have no questions to raise because they have picked
up on what it is that you are trying to describe.

This is just good creative writting and role play practice.

Q: How do I know when someone else is an anonymous oaf?

A: You know someone else is an anonymous oaf when
they roleplay or emote in a post that they move or act,
and because of the lack of description or parameters, you
find it difficult to imagine, or understand exactly what it is
that they are trying to explain, that they have done.

Extra Notes:
In many cases you will find that some roleplayers will
do things and it is often that 'they' do not know
exactly what they were trying to do, they were just
doing whatever they thought they had to in order to
win... This is an example of an overly ambitious, and
unaware beginner... some roleplayers will spend many
years in this phase, and believe them selves to be in
the upper leagues of roleplayers.. It does happen.
Anyone can make a mistake.

Important Notice:
Anyone who makes this godmoding violation, make
this godmoding violation because they lack the responsability
to act out an attempt at a movement or action they
should not be conducting. Otherwise the results are roleplay
destructive.

Law of common sense:
When this godmoding mistake is made and there
are important, and significant parameters, and descriptions
missing from a post, then the roleplayer responding to
the post is not obligated to respond as if though they
fully understand the circumstances of the post they are
responding to, if it is indeed missing significant parameters,
details, and descriptions. That is simply too much to ask
of someone, and is unrealistic. Instead if your post (for example)
is missing important details, parameters, and descriptions,
then, it is the right of other roleplayers to assume whatever they
imagine is right to assume, about the actions and movements
found in your post, and they maintain the right to respond
according to what they see, (or are forced to imagine) in they're
mind's eye, in order to respond.

As a compliment to this revised guideline there will
be updates that will keep up with the demand of
new violations, and new kinds of godmoding, so
that this revision will never be out of date.

As a secondary compliment, there will be a news
letter released, of "Gaia's most Unwanted Godmoders"
that will contain a list of names of the most undesired
godmoders on gaiaonline.com, so that readers of
the newsletter will know ahead of time to reject
someone from their thread before they have a chance
to enter and godmod.

As a delux compliment I will be opening an RP guild
with the soul purpose of catching godmoders in
the act of godmoding, investigating godmoding incidents
and convicting them, to be released as undesirable
godmoders in the hall of shame list, and "Gaia's most
Unwanted Godmoders" newsletter.

In order to obtain protection from this new guild
a thread owner only has to ask. It is advised that
every thread owner who does not allow godmoding
in their thread, provide a link to this thread on
their first page in order to further protect their
thread from the acts of godmoding, which would
then become a reportable incident, due to thread
visitors breaking the rules of the thread in an
unwelcome fasion, where the thread rules were
well explained.

Enjoy your time on Gaia.
