My friend is auditioning for our schools production of The Laramie Project. He needs an audition monologue that falls under the following catagories:
- Dramatic.
- Male role.
- About 2-4 minutes.
Said friend is good at the following kinds of roles:
- Male.
- Age range 20-29.
- Emotional drama. (Hahaha.)
- Narator-type characters.
I checked the monologue archive, but it only had female role 'logs in it...

Well yay for checking the Monologue Archive. You get some definite cool points for that.
I'll ask around tomorrow at rehearsal. My boyfriend did a really good monologue from Love! Valour! Compassion! But it may not be appropriate for a high school. We have a screwy two-year system, so it worked for Senior High, but it wouldn't have worked year before last. The show is about a house where these six gay guys are living, and drama ensues. Real drama. It's not a comedy in the least. But the mono I'm thinking of is one of the twins'. His brother has cancer and is dying, and he wants to know why the brother was always better liked.
So go look that one up.
