After watching most of that I'm starting to think that the Wii will be extremely annoying to control. All of the games he played seemed like the Twilight Princess demo at the Nintendo press conference.

Only 480i? crying At least 720i >_>
Anyhoo, like I've said before, is it REALLY that hard to aim with the Wiimote in Duck Hunt or do they just plainly suck or are they purposely sucking just to show off how the game works as a whole?

After watching the video again, one of my original fears reguarding the Wiimote has come to light...
Look at the angle his wrist is turned to hold the Wiimote...
Looks painful to hold it like that for long.

Shaun the Bunny II After watching the video again, one of my original fears reguarding the Wiimote has come to light... Look at the angle his wrist is turned to hold the Wiimote... Looks painful to hold it like that for long. Remember he did say it was better (for him) to stand a few more feet back. Also, who said you had to hold it up? You can just let your hand rest on the couch armrest and just turn the Wiimote for aiming But either way, I really do hope they make an actual gun type mold for the Wiimote, that'd be sweet

At a nintendo press event in spain they had a line up of the accessories they've finalized for the Wii. One of them was a shell called the "zapper."

That dude really sucked at Battlion Wars II. He stood there for atleast 10 second shooting his own tank thinking it was the enemy.
Anyway, the video doesn't make me more or less excited for the Wii...I don't think you could supass "max" excitment. xp

Like the guy in the video said many times, don't judge the sensitivity on these games on his demonstarations. He was standing quite close to the TV and none of the games had a calibration system (Yet).
Yeah, I'm officially not getting Red Steel now. I really WANT to like the game since it's going to be the first FPS for the Wii and all, but I just can't. There is just so many things wrong with it (controls, graphics, gameplay, etc). The character models look pretty stupid as well.
Now the games I'm getting on launch will end up being Rayman, Metroid and maybe Zelda.

I see games falling into these patterns. Patterns I don't think I enjoy.
The mouse like control with having to move the cursor to the side of the screen in order to move causes difficulty and annoyance. Probably why he kept saying it felt better from further back. BWii handled it well with the lock on system, as I'm sure MP3 will as well. But it's still an issue.
I suprisingly like the look of BWii. Unfortunately, as Gaughan said, the guy utterly sucked at it. I mean, REALLY sucked at it.
OH LOOK, ANTI-AIRCRAFT THINGS. I KNOW, I'LL RUSH AT THEM WITH MY HELICOPTER.
OOPS, DIDN'T WORK... LETS TRY IT AGAIN!
JEEZE, THIS GAME IS HARD.
Continued dissatisfaction with Red Steel. I understand Ubisoft's direction is to find something that feels like actual swordfighting but isn't actual swordfighting, since they believe it would be too difficult for most people who aren't swordfighters. However, THATS WHAT WE WANT. Not this bullshit run around in a circle minigame crap.
Super Mario Strikers didn't look too bad, actually. Does the first one play anything like that?
Wii orchestra doesn't interest me. Wii Tennis looked meh. Baseball look too easy. Mr. Air Force got two home runs, and it seems based more on timing than controller location. Golf looked better than baseball, but still meh.
Duck Hunt = They showed off more targets than ducks. And the duck shooting didn't feel anywhere like the original was. Tiny little far off ducks.
Best representation of Wii on the internet so far. Looks fun, but overall, it's just not doing it for me. It seems more oriented towards making it easy for Larry the Cable guy to play games than it does towards revolutionizing gaming.
And the complete lack of MP3 footage is blasphemous.

Red Steel looks disappointing.
Looks like Metroid Prime will be my only FPS. And even then, MP isn't really that much of an FPS, more of an FPA.
