I noticed today (5th September 5.55pm New Zealand time) that there seems to be a grammatical error in the banner...
Between "For your sanity and mine, ((Note the COMMA)) Type out your DARN words.
The 'T' of type should not be capatalised.

You do have a point... Well, if anyone here has an animated GIF editor and would like to fix the banners, that's fine with me.

Gah! Some guy PMed me about that yesterday, saying that it "cheapens the guild". I looked it up in Dictionary.com and it said that "damn" can be used as an adjective, so that's that as far as I'm concerned.

I noticed this a while back, but I just got here! It really irks me, I must say! It's sort of contradictory as we're a pro-grammar guild who makes a grammatical error in their own signature.

Some guy PMed me about that yesterday, saying that it "cheapens the guild". (I would, had I the software required to edit multi-frame images.) We are not here to serve the whim of every member to put forth a complaint, you know. wink
