The next gen videogames got me thinking.... what will guitars look like in the next few years? JUst think about it. They might have crazy lazzers for strings, and might never need to be tuned. you would never have to change them!!! there would be no end.

Having lazers for strings? Where's the fun in that? neutral Self-tuning guitars sounds nicer.

the guitar hasn't changed all that much since the conception of the 6-string many many many many many moons ago. I don't percieve much of a change within the next decade, aside from perhaps advances in construction or hardware (tremolo engineering).

Personally, I can imagine the creation of a system similar to the Floyd Rose, but without the incredible fuss that is involved with the FR. I can imagine it, because I know it would be in high demand.

kasacoon get a kayler. they are made in the US and are a good brand. Kahler. And They havn't really made any advances since the 80's, either. Its still the same tremelo they had back when hair ruled the world, they just stopped producing for a while - it just SEEMS new and improved! That said, they ARE wonderful, from what I hear.

Yes I have heard of the speedloader. I'm talking about something with the simplicity of a floating bridge (I say simplicity sweatdrop ) and with standard priced strings, most likely standard ones, not directly from Floyd Rose.
