I would go into details but I already stated so in their thread that they ignored. I feel out of place here. <3

No need to. Not everyone here supports N.I.P.S It just happens to coincide WITH N.I.P.S.
Peasant clothing is just clothing. People want to wear clothing. Some people want to wear PEASANT'S clothing. Meh. That's good enough reason for me to wear it.
And BTW, I DO NOT wear for N.I.P.S anymore. I've been flamed so many times for stating my 'For' opinion I've jsut given up. I've deleted my signature on the psot (hasn't been updated in two months) so i won't be there and and and Yeha....
Rambling is bad.

Honestly, NIPS pisses me off. Every time that the staff tries to make the site BETTER, someone screams about it. So they have some variety in their clothing? So what? They still have to work for anything good, they're not giving them donation items.

That is the exact reason I don't support it anymore. My little sister just got an account and she was absolutely thrilled she didn't have to go around in a bra and panties for (insert timeframe here) and she doesn't much like the peasant stuff. She got the warm set and sent me all the furniture. Currently Questing: Lunar Cloak .5k out of 35.5k

I see N.I.P.S, and I'm like, Oh yeah, nice. Then I go away and play. ^_^ So I'm not for it nor against it.

Woo! Not in the guild yet still posting! (I got a guild invite so, this isn't just random...) I DO support N.I.P.S. because I don't like the peasant clothing. But damn, I make this look good.

I support the original purpose behind NIPS, but I don't support the reason so many other people have signed the petition. I remember the time when I dressed in peasant clothing, and I seriously enjoyed the time. I rped a lot back then -still do, but not as much-, and I was always dressed for the part, because I liked playing run down people.
But yeah, I loved the feeling of accomplishing what I perceived as gaining a full outfit. And yeah, I feel that they're missing out a little bit. Maybe a lot of the people in NIPS are far too radical in their personal opinions, but I support it for mine *shrug*

Ranuu has a point, a much better one than the "OMG they have full outfits and furniture and we didn't!" crowd. I, too, enjoyed working with my rags, adding accessories until I eventually had a much more expensive outfit... I actually regretted selling my peasant shirt, peasant pants and flame shoes to get that last bit of gold for the yukata... but then, not everyone wants to go around in rags scrounging for a full outfit, and that is understandable. To each their own.

That's kinda how I feel only way better worded. smile Good job. Like I said before, I think they should make a cheaper store, like a thirft store, goodwill, ect... Cheap items so it's easier, prices from 20g-200g. It's easier but not so 'handed' out, you know? smile

But you can get items ordered by price in the stores, and there are many in that range. And the starter items are, really, worthless; should you sell them, you couldn't buy much more than a set of peasant clothes.

Sorry, forgot I posted in this topic xD;
Yay! People support the wording of my mini-speech biggrin that makes me realleh realleh happy. And I agree with both of you. Barton Boutique has always been my favorite store for a little run into the shops (though Durem Depot and H.G. Wells have my style votes xD), and it's because of the cheap prices there.

Personally, I like how noobs can get actual clothing to wear and don't have to go around being called sluts because they don't like peasant clothing and don't want to wear it.
I still did sign the petition though xD
