As in a weekend school that only teaches Chinese. I quit after 2 years while I was still top of the class, plus it was getting a little expensive. twisted

Ah yes.. from JK to Gr2.. I was in chinese school learning cantonese and then my parents thought I should try to learn some mandarin so from Gr3-4 i went to some other place. Then I quite and took classes again in Gr.6 and 7.. and i quit again. I never enjoyed chinese school.. =) i can speak cantonese fluently but i can't really write chinese or anything

Yup, I have. I used too for three years then I stopped because there wasn't a chinese teacher teaching anymore. So now my mom sort of teaches me and I try to learn myself. I can speak it alright, just have some trouble reading and writing it.

hmm... I think this is referring to Chinese school as in teaching Chinese in western societies? haha if that's the case then no. But I did attend elementary school in China from grade 1 - 4. Must say, it's a lot tougher there than here 3nodding

Chinese school is annoying, but I like to help my friends when they don't know something in their textbooks~

I went to one for a couple of years. Wiim and I attended the same classes every week. While he actually learned things, I dicked around and did nothing.

No wonder I'm still illiterate in Chinese now.
