Er- Oracle! Dr Mid- Nite is a doctor, so he must be clever, Tim is clever, Savant, though he is also a bit odd.

I'd say more than half of all comic book characters have an above-average intellect, with all the geniuses and scientists running around.

Steph Brown I'd say more than half of all comic book characters have an above-average intellect, with all the geniuses and scientists running around. I agree, in fact it would be harder to find dumb heros, though there are some dumb villlains.

Uh...nice poll.
Peter Parker is quite the genius himself, and is highly underrated in this capacity.

Mr. Terrific, he has already mentioned on multiple occasions people have referred to him as "the smartest man in the world" to which he responds, "third smartest". So he is up there above most of the dc you have brought up, if not all. Then you have to think of John Henry Irons(steel), ray palmer (the atom), and of course there are aliens that are used to using super human tools like Mr. Miracle, Superman, and the martian manhunter.

There's a hell of a lot of geniusses in comics. Full of mad scientists, inventors and geeky heroes. Quite apart from the ones that obviously incorporate their smarts into their crimefighting - Reed Richards, Oracle, Mr Terrific, etcetera - there's loads more which aren't so obvious about it but which happen to be really clever anyway - Peter Parker and Barry Allen spring to mind.
As someone else said, it's harder to think of characters who aren't that clever. I suppose there's always dumb goons who work for villains. Guy Gardner came to mind, but for most of the time he was acting dumb, he was brain-damaged, so that doesn't really count.
