Customerssuck.com is a site where people post stories about sucky customers they've had the displeasure to service at their jobs. If you haven't been there, you have been terribly deprived of a great source of humor.
"Artist" probably isn't a real job to most people here, but that doesn't mean we don't get solicited for art or sell it for Gaia gold. Pet peeves, stupidest/rudest requests, users to look out for, etc. Post 'em here.
1/24/07: It has been mentioned that some artists can suck pretty bad, too. Since artists also tend to be art fans, I've changed this thread so it's about both sucky cutsomers and sucky artists. =3

No one? D: Well, I have TWO.
1) Pet peeve--people who PM me after seeing my shop and ask for things they know I won't do, assuming they read the first page at all. First of all, it says in the first and second posts that I don't want people PMing me and that I won't draw hentai. When is asking someone you don't know to draw you porn EVER appropriate, let alone after they've already refused?
2) There is a trade for 9k pending in my trades for a CGed full-body avatar. Drew it, sent it, approved the trade, oh... a month ago? Two? stressed

While I completely agree with your point that you can get some really really pain in the a** customers there can be a customers side to this discussion. Say you paid a good load of gold for a piece and ended up with it subpar or paid a large load of gold ahead of time and never recieved the piece? It can be pretty dang bad too.
I'm both an artist and a customer so I've been on both sides of the fence.

EDIT: On the subject of people who make you pay a lot of money for subpar art, they do indeed suck. I don't buy much art though, so this hasn't actually happened to me.
What annoys me is when people misrepresent their skill with their banners. Like they'll have some pretty piece of art for every banner in the shop, but when you get look at their samples, they're... well, not very good. It's a cheapass way to attract people, and it's unfair to both customers who think the artist is really that good, and unfair to the artist who drew the art in the banners whose art is basically being stolen.
Belladona Nightshade: Sent quite a few reminders, I did. Though actually, I suspect the person's been banned or left Gaia or something, because there's been no activity on their account in forever. Besides, I remember some sticky saying admins can't be brought into this sort of thing (can't remember where, though.) sad

Mm yes that is rather annoyinng. I for one only like banners with my art in it when it comes to stuff like art shops. Closest I'll get to a banner that's not my own anymore is having a person I hire do the banners for me with my art in it. 3nodding
she would have to have been on recently considering she's wearing the january and december items
