Pain flashed through her belly as Temari limped towards the back corner of the empty den. She was all alone, though she'd prayed that Jamaa would make it here in time. Hoped that he would be here for her, hoped that her mate would just be here at all to tell her it was really okay.
Temari had been through a birthing before, really she had. But this... this was just too much. The pain lanced through her belly and she toppled from her feet to her side with a howl of pain, tears running down her cheeks as she tried to figure out what was wrong this time. Last time hadn't been this painful.
"Ja... maa." Temari whispered out as she felt another searing pain hit her abdomen. "Jamaa!"

Jamaa panicked as he flew over the grasslands. He knew Temari was pregnant and was nearing her time. He turned to talk to Dhati about the pack and some others duties forced upon the Pack Guardian when he discovered that Temari disappeared. Immediately he knew where she was going, they promised to be at the family den when she was in labor. Only now...he feared for his family.
"Temari! Temari!" he called out running into the den, skidding to a stop. The golden female was on her side and in very much pain. "Temari." he called coming to her, nuzzling her. What could he do but comfort her? He whined and licked her as much as possible worried for her well-being and for those she beared.

As her stomach all but ripped itself apart the female threw her head back and howled in pain. She could barely stand it, tears streaming down her face as her green eyes shimmered in pain.
"Ja... maa... help, please." Temari pleaded as best she could in her raspy pain wracked voice. "Please." She gasped out as she curled into a ball and howled again.
Why were they killing her? Was she meant to die like this? All Temari wanted was to bring her mates pups to being, to give them lives so that new hearts could live on. But... she had the distinct feeling this would kill her in some way.
Putting her paws on her belly she pushed and felt some sort of warmth seep out of her, only to realize that she was soaked. It helped a little but instantly a worse kind of pain slammed her in the gut and she yelped from the force.

Jamaa started to cry, hard. He could not stand this. This was all his fault, he was selfish and wanted a family. He impregnated her and had her carry his young for months. This was his fault, he wished this never happened, he wished that he could just take the pups from her and relieve her of this pain. "What can I do?!" He cried, nuzzling her. "Tell me what to do, Temari. Tell me what you need.
As he moved his body closer, his paw fell into something wet. Looking down, he could see clear liquid around her. Her water broke. "Temari." he murred. It was only moments now until her contractions started up and her labor to begin. His eyes closed shut, taking them away from her. She looked in so much pain, as if she was on the edge of dying.
What had the male done....

Temari arched her back as she curled against the pain that was setting her entire body aflame. It felt like she would burn off of existance. The pain was excruciating.
Yet all the same something inside of her told her to push. She knew that was how it worked, knew that was what she'd done with her first three, but it hurt so much. All the same, the pups had to come somehow, somehow... though she wasn't sure if she was strong enough.
Using every muscle in her body she pushed and screamed in the process of. It almost seemed as if nothing inside of her moved.
"Help... Jam...aa." It was all she could say anymore as she writhed in pain. She knew this had to do with that stupid arrowhead, she knew it had to be something in her blood, knew that she was probably killing her pups with it. All the more reason to get them out, though she never entirely realized that she was wrong. It was only killing her.

Jamaa's teared flowed down, hitting against the floor, once again feeling helpless. First when Kizaki was taken away. Then when Temari became distant. Finally when he lost control. All he could do was murr and nuzzle and lick to comfort her as much as possible, even then he felt helpless.
"Temari, I am here. Please, you have to be alright..." he cried, doing all he can to comfort her and help her through the process. "I would never you let our pups live without their true mother. Temari...."
The harder she pushed it seemed as if the pup, or pups would not move from their location. If this kept up....she might....she might....
die.

The golden female grunted unhappily and howled again before she rolled over and wrapped her legs around one of his tightly. This was killing her, really truely killing her to the point that she knew there was no hope.
And just as she was about to give up something inside of her told her to push. Making a face around the pain she tightened her grip on Jamaa's leg and tightened her abdomen as pain lanced through it quickly.
A sigh floated from her muzzle as she eased her body a little as the pain subsided momentarily. Glancing down with glazed over eyes she pulled the red pup close to her throbing stomach, confused about his colors as she licked his wet fur gently.
"You... have a... son." She said looking up at Jamaa weakly before flopping back to her side. The pain was slowly growing again as she cried again. ninja

Red. The first pup was a red male. Jamaa was glad this lightened the pressure on the female, and he has a family now. "Ryega....could i call him Ryega?" he asked, this was also Temari's pup.
Suddenly Temari was pushing again, was there another? There were more!? How many has she been carry for these many months!? Jamaa licked the pup, warming it up after the sudden transaction from the warmth of the mother to the cold outer world. He could help with that and comfort her.
"Temari, please...push." he urged. "Push, love. Push." What else could he say? Jamaa put the red male beside her. "There is more of him, only you can bring it forth." he added, licking her softly and nuzzling her. He didn't care what pain she put hom him. He wanted her to be okay.

Temari almost started to scream at the top of her lungs as the pain worsened once again. This was unberable, what was it that was doing this.
Only the words of her mate rang through her pain as she forced herself to push as hard as possible. Something slipped and burned inside of her and at last something moved.
This time she didn't have the energy to do anything for her pup, she could only lay on her side and heave in pain and exhaustion as another twang hit her. ninja

Jamaa quickly scrambled up this one and quirked a brow. For some reason, this one made him hungry. Jamaa quickly shoved the idea from his mind and placed him next to Ryega. "His name's Kianjahe." he muttered, why did he name him that name? Dunno, probably the sudden thought of hunger.
What was going on!? Three!? Jamaa licked the two pups and turned to Temari. "Please, Temari, this must be the last one. Push, push it out and it will be all over." his eyes red from his tears that long dried out. He had spent them all on his childhood and the rest for her. "Temari, please, push, pushe, push." Jamaa urged. Jamaa vowed he would never put her in this pain ever again. No matter the reason, he would never impregnant her or any one else ever. "Temari!" he called out.

"Kian...jahe?" She grunted out under her breath as the pain flashed through her once more.
One more time. Just one more time. That's all there is, there'll be no more. I can't feel anymore. Temari screamed in her mind as she pushed with every muscle in her body. The tears had grown dry despite the pain she felt.
It was over. It was over and she couldn't feel as much pain anymore, though she felt incredibly weak and limp. Blood was flowing from her uncomfortably as she closed her eyes and sighed faintly in an attempt to ignore it. But it didn't work. ninja

Jamaa picked up the cub, cleaning it quickly. "Agizo." he quickly named and placed it with the other three. Three. Three Males. Ryega looked so odd next to his brothers, but he loved him either way. He was happy that Temari bore him three boys and was even happier it was Temari who did it.
"Temari?" he called, no reply. "Temari, look, it's our family, look three boys." he called, nuzzling her. "Temari?" oh no....was she...was she dead? No. Can't be. "Temari?" the male asked, nudging her softly wanting a reply. "Temari?" he called again, licking her cheek. "Temari wake up, you are scaring me. Temari?" he called over and over again. He was now beginning to fear raising the pups without knowing their own mother. "Temari, please....."

Darkness swirled about behind the female's eyes as she attempted to get her thoughts in order. She heard things, she knew she did, she even felt all the touches and the feeling of her pups against her.
But the pain...
A groan worked its way from her muzzle at last and Temari finally managed to open her eyes slowly. Jamaa's dark brown muzzle wavered into her view and she groaned again as she dropped her head back and closed her eyes again.
This was too much. "Jaa... maaaa. Three... sons. Ha...ppy?" She gritted out as she opened her right eye and glanced up at him with a watery eye. This bleeding should have stopped by now, maybe that was why she was so lightheaded.

"Temari!" Jamaa cried, hugging her. He was so frightened that he might've lost his mate. "I am so glad that you are still with me." he replied, almost forgetting her pup comment. "Yes, three boys, our boys." Jamaa smiled and laid down, putting the pups between them.
Jamaa rested his head next to Temari's, licking her softly to make sure she was still with him. Ryega moved away from the pups and stumbled around. Eventually heading to the lower ends of the two older dogs. Jamaa quirked and turned him around, and the pup waddled in the diection. The red pup yipped loudly and continued until he reached Jamaa's paw. Ryega proded it many times until he climbed over it, falling over. The pup continued his trek until he reached his father's muzzle.
"Ryega, what are you doing?" Jamaa asked playfully, looking up at his son. The pup grimaced and moved his head around before stumbling back, cowering. "Ryega?" Jamaa sat up straight and looked down at the pup, "Temari...I think there is something wrong with him."

Cold.
That's all the small pup could feel even next to his brothers. A soft yip came from the small body as he desperately crawled forward to find warmth. Being lifted off the ground was the strangest feeling that the mottled coated pup had experienced yet. For his small and fumbling paws to be hanging in the air made him yip louder in fright until he was set down.
Away from the blood and slickness about him, Agizo was able to navigate happily until he felt something warm and soft against him. THe soft breathing of his mother began to calm him and his even more exhausted body. He decided to rest against her seeing as his small body was too tired to go on.
