It had been many days since that faithful day that Kanati had confessed his love for Starshine. He was happier and more in touch with the world then he had been. Something had been making him act a little strange, but it wasnt enough for him to freak out. He was different now, like he understood the lessons the spirits tried to him better. Kanati seemed at peace like the first time Starshine and he had met. It was early morning as he walked quitly through the plains his head held high as the wind blew through his mane though it held no lessons for him today only the whisper of sweet sunshine comming with the sunrise. He was curious of when Starshine would appear to him this morning.

Dawns first rays dusted the sky as the pale mare quietly walked over the bluff. Her eyes glazed skyward as the gental rays caressed the mounatins as the sun made its way into the sky. Her colorful mane and tail danced about her slender form, as she gracefully turned her eyes too look at the all too framilure dark figure in the distance. A smile spread across her face as her eyes fell upon him, and with a whinny her golden hooves reaching towards the sky, she raced down the hillside towards him.

At the sound of the whinny he turned spotting Starshine heading his way. His smile turned to a toothy grin as he returned the whinny and reared galloping to meet her. As he met with her he galloped a circle round her giving a laugh like some love stuck foal with a deep voice. He nipped at her mane and galloped fowards hopping abit like he wanted to play. Before galloping in the other direction towards the sunrise. "Ive got plans for today Starshine!!! Follow if you wish to know them."

Her rainbow mane fell about her pale form like liquid, dripping down her sides and pooling on the ground around her. She smiled at Kanati watching him amused as he danced around her. He was always full of life, but this was a playful side of her strong protector that she hadnt had the pleasure to often see. She giggled and turned her head to watch him run to greet the rising sun. With a laugh she sprang into action and raced behind him, her golden hooves thundering across the plains. "How can I let my curiosity go when you dance so playfully around me and then run?" she laughed.

"Good I knew you wouldnt dissapoint me." Kanati gave a laugh before running forwards dashing over the plains looking to Starshine every few moments. It didnt seem like he was going to stop running as he into the forrest slightly crossing the small river that ran through it. Through the clearing along side the Kawani villiage Then turning and crossing another river, never slowling down only looking back to see if Starshine was following. Finally as he reached the beach her trotted to a stop. The sun was higher in the sky now, but it was hot or anything.
"You alright Starshine?" He wanted took make sure it was a long nonstop trip after all.

With a laugh she raced after him, her curiosity peaked that he was so excited to show her something. Her golden hooves thundered across the ground, through the river and over fallen trees. She had no idea where she was going, the wold passed before her as a blurr the only thing she could see clearly was Kanati raceing ahead of her.
Her rainbow tail streamed behind her, like a living rainbow giving chase to her pure white form. Panting she finally joined him on the beach, her hooves digging into the sand as she joined his side. Closing her eyes for a moment she sough to catch her breath. Kanati could truely race with the wind and win. "Yes... Im.. fine.." she got out, each word spaced by agasp for air. Her lungs burned but her body still stirred forward. She wanted so much to see what he was so excited about.

"Hmm remind me to teach you how to breath with the wind as you run." Kanati said with a laugh nuzzling her.
Truth was Kanati was very tired, but he was winded cause long ago he learned to breath the right way while running.
Kanati walked fowards on a sand dune towards the first activity he had planned for the day. Something reflected off his horn as he stood at the top of the sand dune. A little brown and white ferret scampered from the otherside of the dune trying not to be seen. On the otherside was sea glass aranged so the ground was glittering and there was a huge breakfest layed out on a bed of leaves with normal things like apples, carrots, and sweet grass to honey combs, strawberries, and black berries. Human made bowls with water were on both sides of the food.
Kanati had a reason to celabrate but he wasnt about to mention it for he thought it unimportant.
"What do you think? A nice breakfest on the beach sound good?"

Starshine smiled and lightly chuckled. "You are so wise Kanati. Always the teacher with me as well.. but also so much more." with a gentle caress she ran her muzzle down his cheek and gave him an affectionate nuzzle. As he parted from her to stand upon the dune her mind couldnt help but race with questions. After a moment of quiet observation, watching him was like watching poetry in motion.... She followed him up the side of the dune.
Her golden hooves melted into the sand as she moved to stand behide him, and as her eyes looked out beyond the sand...her jaw hung slack. She had never seen anything so beautiful in her life. Her heart skipped a beat, and she gave a small giddy giggle. "Oh my...Kanati how ever did you manage this? Its all so beautiful! This is no normal breakfast..."

Kanati laughed abit nuzzling Starshine happy that she liked it.
"A friend helped me out. Yes it is a special breafest, but as far as Im concerned its still not good enough for you. Your so wonderful Starshine,Id do anything for you. Come lets enjoy our breafest." Kanati said nibbling her mane playfully before starting the walk over to there meal.
((dont we all wish to have a boy friend like him XD))

Starshine giggled softly as his kind words made her heart swell with pride, and his nibbling on her mane tickled her neck. She nuzzled against him in a gentle caress before walking over to the beautiful meal he had laid out before her. A soft sigh escaped her as she looked over all the hard work he had gone through. "You flatter me too much Kanati... for this act is truely beyond words."

"No your beauty is beyond words, this meal is just a tiny expression of my love. I hope I dont sound silly saying such things, but when words fail to come out one must resort to actions. I cant begin to discribe how I feel for you, but I will try my hardest to have you to understand." Kanati picked up a honey comb and held it up for her.

Starshine's pale cheeks lightly flushed a rose hue as he spoke so beautifully to her, about her. She smiled and lightly bowed her head shyly. "Im glad you see me as such Kanati... for I am awed by your very presance." she said, her pale eyes sparkling as she looked up at him again. Starshine couldnt stop smiling even as she leaned forward to take a bite of the sweet honeycomb he offered her.
The honey was sweet on her tongue, and sticky. It tasted freah and warm, and it couldnt have been more wonderful. The romantic side of her belived that it was so sweet because Kanati's lips had touched it. Her heart fluttered and skipped a beat. She was always s safe and loved in his presance.

Kanati grinned his eyes seeming in a daze as he looked at her lovingly. He nibbled on abit of the honey comb though he wasnt really all that hungry. How could he be? He couldnt stop thinking about Starshine and how lucky he was to have met her. Kanati found himself at a loss for the right words to explain this moment . "I love you so much...if you need something to drink there is some water right there." he laughed abit think ing he sounded abit silly.

Starshine giggled a bit, her mouth was sticky with honey and she found it hard to speak. "I luff joo teew. " She managed to spit out before looking for the water. She giggled and shook her head, how foolish she must have sounded. It would have been much more lady like had she taken a moment to drink before she attempted a reply, but then that was starshine.
She flushed softly and hid her face inside her veil of rainbow. "I dont know what I would do without you Kanati." she said, one eye looking at him bashfully.
Something in the distance sent a shiver running through her body, something...someone's eyes staring her now. Some preditor..The unicorn tensed and she wondered if Kanati could feel it too.

Kanati laughed lightly at the way she had sounded.
"That was too cute." Kanati nuzzled Starshine as she blushed. "Be sad and lonly like I would be, if I didnt have you." Kanati wasnt paying any attention save to Starshine. He wasnt normaly so lovestruck, but he was in a particularly cuddly mood today.
