I cant choose because both I like and hate in a way but if I would choose I would choose edge because although I dont like his gimmick very much I could ignore it and watch a great match
You guys are gonna be flamed by Kazuma
You got that right.
Ok, let's start. Let's see the good and bad points of each.
Edge-
Good Points:
- Practically a wrestling god, Edge's amazing wrestling skill even puts several legends to shame. But what do you expect from someone trained by The Hitman?
- Great heel.
- Amazing actor.
- Charismatic. Even many heel-haters cheer for him.
- Can make a match great, no matter who it's against. The Cena vs. Edge rivalry was the third best rivalry Cena has ever had, in my opinion, the first being the one with HBK, and the second being with Chris Jericho. However, any rivalry that Edge has had has been an instant classic.
- Let's face it- his theme song is awesome.
- Very fast, especially for a man his height.
- Good mic skills.
Bad Points:
- His gimmick pisses me off sometimes.
- Edge is made to look like a coward (cashing in his money in the Bank both times in the same, cowardly manner.), which isn't his fault at all.
Cena-
Oh wow, it's gonna be hard to find good points.
Good Points:
- He's good looking, according to most of the female WWE fans. Big deal. So is Leonardo DiCaprio and and if he ever stepped into a ring with someone like The Undertaker, the fans would be booing him before he can say Blood Diamond.
- Also charismatic.
- Moderate mic skills.
Bad Points:
- A wrestling disaster. He can make amazing matches come crashing down, and become the most boring and unconvincing pieces of s**t ever.
- His gimmick is annoying.
- As fit for being a face as Batista is.
- Can't sell even the simplest of injuries. (take a look at Wrestlemania. He was supposed to have a hurt leg and he can't even sell that.)
- Horrible actor.
- Most of his fans are either children, women that only like him for looks, or illiterates. Judging from this forum, I would say that the vast majority of those fans are children, girls that only like him for looks, and illiterates. This guild only proves this point.
- His finisher. Need i say more? It's a fireman's carry takeover. Something that wrestlers in the early 80s used as an average move to set up for a ground submission move.
- His mic skills have gone downhill since his gimmick change.
- Overall, can't wrestle his way out of a paper bag.
Now before all you Cena-loving illiterates come and flame
me (kinda funny since it's usually me doing the flaming), I will admit that Cena has been improving, very, very slowly. By about 10 years, he might be as good as Edge,
IF he picks up the pace a bit.
Edge, however, can continue improving, which he has also done, very, very slowly. So by the time Cena is as good as Edge, Edge will have the wrestling skill that Bret Hart himself did.
