Out of herself and her five sisters, Ohahira was probably the less likely to have thoughts concerning how angry mother and father would be that she'd wandered away without their permission.
Mind you, not because the cub was particularly daring, adventurous or just out right didn't care about those who'd brought her into the world; she was just...absent-minded sometimes.
And, to be fair, she HAD been thinking about it (sort of) for a little while. Then, she'd stumbled across the bird--the dead bird. From the looks of it, it had died while in the tree it's corpse was laying under and fell.
"Oh, cruel fate!" the cub whined, dropping to the ground and rolling on her back, pawing meagerly at the air. "To take a life while in it's place of safety! Has fate no sense of justice?!" she rambled, quite loudly.

Uhuru, being the constant jungle wanderer he is, always seemed to find the annoying little cubs exactly when he didn't want to. Today was no exception. Some cub had started whining about who knows what and he just so happened to be the only one around.
However instead of leaving like any other insensitive male would have, he crawled out from the undergrowth and strolled casually up to her. "Excuse me, but could you please stop whinning? It's ruining my stroll," he asked as politely as posssible.

Ohahira's family didn't vary much in appearence. Considering they'd been the only living things she'd seen so far, and hadn't even left the cave until recently, it was somewhat reasonable she'd assume only a few shades or colors exsisted: brown, white, black, and green.
Adventuring out into the jungle had made it obvious this wasn't so, and many others exsisted. While she'd seen purple a few times in passing on flowers, it hadn't occured to her another lion could have it, too.
Getting up, and either ignoring what he said or blissfully unaware of it, the female trotted over to the other with no reguard for personal space. "Ah! What beauty! The flowers have painted themselves on the beasts of the jungle!"
Maybe if she rolled around in some flowers, she'd get more color, too?

Uhuru had seen many different colored creatures, but none were as plain or as drab as this little girl looked. Nothing seemed special about her unlike the colorful others he had met before.
He sneered at the black painted youngling. "Excuse me? Beast?" Uhuru would never consider himsellf a beast. Beasts were uncivilized and are to be eaten be the likes of himself. "I believe you have me confused with something else, but thank you very much for the compliment."

Blinking rapidly a few times, the cub drew back. Not out of fear, though, as told the somewhat confused expression on her face. "Did Hahi offend you?" questioned the tiny creature. In the rare instances the conversation was about her, she had a horrid habbit of refering to herself in third person.
"Oh, Purple," she began cheerfully, using the nickname she'd apparently given him, "You are a beast. A plant or a beast, and surely not a plant. The ability to move is gifted to you just as the color!"
With no warning, she fell to the ground, and again rolled over, sticking all four legs high in the air and for quite some time not moving. "This is the life of a plant, Purple beast."

He sneered at her as he refered to this "Hahi" creature. "I'm guessing Hahi is your name?" Then he chuckled at her use of the third person.
"Purple...?" he mouthed while looking at her oddly. "Well, in my world, beasts are the uncivilized scum who live off of others and of course I'm not a plant, you numbskull!" he responded adding an eyeroll for emphasis. "My gods," he thought, "this girl is out of her mind."
He panicked. "What just happened?! What's wrong with her?" He went to prod her with a forepaw when she spoke about the life of a plant. Then he raised an eyebrow and said, "Yes...I'm sure it is." This kid is weird...
