[ Nyoka had become very fat as of late, which really had become quite a burden. It slowed her down and made it so she could not go to far from home incase of predators. The few meals she had managed to get consisted of bugs and mice that were stupid enough to come into her home while it rained. She sighed heavily, knowing that there were eggs in side of her and they wanted to come out.
She slithered to the farthes place from the little hole which was the opening to get under the rock. It had become difficult for her to squeeze through. She looked around the hole in the ground, hopeing that Mkarag wouldn't see her like this. In pain and very uncomfortable. Although, She knew that he was outside watching over thier rock.
She slowly began to move her head back and forth, back and forth and she coiled up with out thinking. She had put herself in a trance and began to lay her precious eggs. Soft shelled and sticky. ]

Mkarag wanted to give Nyoka her space during her labor and pregnancy. He really wanted to join her for it, but something in him told him, "Give her space." He remained outside in the rain, letting the wet drops slide down his scales, body shivering as a cold-blooded animal.
For every moment that passed, his urge to slither back inside grew stronger. He wanted to be with her so badly. Mkarag straightened himself, he was going in. Slowly he slide down the side of the rock and slipped inside. To his surprise, Nyoka had already laid her, rather their, eggs and now coiled around them protectively. "Nyoka..." he whispered, coming to her side looking down at the five pale colored eggs. "Our family."
TIME SKIP
Mkarag had been waiting for this day for a long time. Days of watching the eggs for Nyoka while she hunted and vice versia. Days of waiting impatiently for their family to hatch. It was only moments ago did one start to move when the male darted out to call for his mate. He was so excited.
"Nyoka! Nyoka! They are here! They are here!" he called out from their den.

[ Nyoka was sitting atop of her rock. It was her place to think, her place to relax. She knew that her days of having an almost carefree like were coming to a close. Eggs would hatch and she would have to help them learn everything. She was so glad that she had a loving mate who would help her with that.
Mkarag's voice snapped her out of her thinking. As she heard his words of the eggs hatching she plopped off her rock and smiled happily. "Move!" She said without thinking. Although it might of sounded rude this was what she had been waiting for, even if she worried about her own life. "Our eggsss." She cooed over them and watched as they began to hatch. ]

Mkarag swayed his body to the side to let her pass and quirked the scales aove his eye, quirking it. She was...anxious, but who could blame her. EGGS! Mkarag slithered quickly to her side and peered down at the moving eggs. Not long now before they are born.
"I bet this one will hatch first." he said pointing his tail at one of them, pointing to another, "I bet this one if a girl." He was guessing, or was a father's instinct? Suddenly, he kissed Nyoka out of sudden excitement. A family.

A tiny crack found its way slowly down the side of the egg shell, spreading out across the little shelter that a baby snake was about to burst forth from. Little did the little one inside know that his parents were eagerly awaiting his hatching. There was an almost silent crack as a piece of the shell flew forth and a tiny blue head poked out, tongue flicking curiously. Crimson eyes, unblinking, scanned the area around the small, cold body curled inside it's egg slowly, taking everything in. Taking in the scents as its tiny tongue flickered in and out, the little blue snake suddenly moved forward from it's egg, it's entire body now on the ground before it's parents. Looking up at it's father, also a bright blue curiously, the tiny snake smiled slowly and curled up before his father happily, rubbing his head against his father's skin.

Membranes slowly slid back from the eyes of the small little snake baby. She was tiny as could be, but she was stronger than what she figured at least. The dreams she'd been having weren't active enough to keep her awake even though she was still very tired. But something in her wanted to wake up.
The little female moved her body like a wave, writhing in her shell and ready to get out. Cracks formed over the outer edge and in a matter of moments she burst free, bits of egg sticking all over her spotted scales. There she was a very tiny snake baby, curled up on the dirt as the sun hit her scales and she covered her blood red eyes with the membranes that kept them safe again. Strangest place she'd ever first been. ninja
