There are some rare cases where death is the only humane solution, but odds are that if you're still capable of sending this message yours is not such a case.
Any death has a large effect and spreads to many people. These mingle with positives and negatives, but most are negatives. Even if a deranged homeless man keeled over in the night, it would still have an effect. Random passer-byes would pause and be moved with shock, horror, and pity. A small child discovers the corpse and is scarred for life. Etc.
The existentialists have said that before we can be anything, we must first be.
Death, most importantly of all, is a lot harder to cure than life. A dead person has little ability to way their options and decide to give their former mode of being another try. A living person however can always decide to die later if things don't work out.
More importantly, what makes you say this? What maelstrom of depression and anguish leads you to contemplate such a thing?

Time to put my ex-suicidal-person skills to use again. u_u;;
Yes, it is wrong for someone to want to kill themselves. Just hang in there for a while and you'll be thankful. You may think no one cares, but that's what everyone thinks when they want to die. If you were to die, there would be people who would be torn up over your death, believe it or not. Things -WILL- get better and there's a lot of good things in store for you, but you won't experiance it if you're dead. =/
Seek some counseling. It helps.

When I was a teen I had suicidal thoughts...I couldn't handle stressful situations very well, I was very sensitive and took everything to heart, and having a not so great few years, it just seemed to make things worse. There were days when I thought I would be better off dead...I felt that I didn't contribute anything important, and that my pressence wouldn't matter.
Thank the sweet heavens that I resisted the urge to end my life and hung in there, because I now have a good husband and 2 lovely children.
When you're young, everything seems overwhelming. You feel lonely, that no one understand you or what you're going through. It's hard not to fight the feeling that everyone would be better off without you, but fight it you MUST. I find the song by good charolette talks about suicide in an honest way...:
"Hold On"
This world This world is cold But you don't You don't have to go You're feeling sad, you're feeling lonely, and no one seems to care Your mother's gone and your father hits you This pain you cannot bear
But we all bleed the same way as you do And we all have the same things to go through
Hold on if you feel like letting go Hold on it gets better than you know
Your days You say they're way too long And your nights You can't sleep at all Hold on And you're not sure what you're waiting for, but you don't want to know more And you're not sure what you're looking for, but you don't want to know more
But we all bleed the same way as you do And we all have the same things to go through
Hold on if you feel like letting go Hold on it gets better than you know Don't stop looking, you're one step closer Don't stop searching, it's not over Hold on
What are you looking for? What are you waiting for? Do you know what you're doing to me? Go ahead...What are you waiting for?
Hold on if you feel like letting go Hold on it gets better than you know Don't stop looking, you're one step closer Don't stop searching, it's not over Hold on if you feel like letting go Hold on it gets better than you know Hold on
You have to realize that your actions affect those around you...I feel sad when I hear that someone has taken their own life, but I feel worse for the family/friends that they left behind.

Death itself is not wrong, but its how you go about it. Look, if you die too young you will miss out so much and not experience many things (Like if you die a virgin you won't know what sex feels like)
But the main thing is that you wil hurt so many people around you........
SO as I said, DEATH is not wrong, but dying at the wrong time is

SO as I said, DEATH is not wrong, but dying at the wrong time is Well said Toast. To end one's life prematurely in my opinion is just such a waste of potential. I think everybody is meant to do something with their lives or they wouldn't be granted them. And to kill yourself prematurely is to completely and totally give up on all of the good things a person is to eventually accomplish. Someone will smile when you tell a joke. Someone will feel a hand of comfort on their shoulder from you. Someone will talk to you and feel better because of it. And to kill yourself is to deny those people...your loved ones often times...that much needed interaction with you. And I am not saying this because I am suddenly above it all...I have feelings of suicide even now. I think everybody does, in the very least, feel that they are worthless and that no one cares weither they live or die at one time or another. I just find it a shame that suicide victims never see their funerals...

Is there anything you can do to make living better I'd really like to help you. Or at least talk to you about it, if you'd like. You can PM me if you want, or post here, or even head on over to Paper Flowers, a guild just for this kind of thing. Hope things start looking up for you.
