Now maybe this hasnt happened to all of you, but I know it has happened to me and it really pisses me off. Now only one person has done this to me, but he has done it to me more than once. I know he didnt do it on purose, but it steams me.
Dont you absolutely hate it when someone overwrites your saved game file, especially when you are really far into the game?!
Well mt one friend has done this to be at least two or three times. Here are two examples on games he has done it to me to: 1. Shadow Hearts 2. Xenosaga
now Xenosaga I was extremely pissed off about and I havent restarted since he did that to me.
So how do you feel if this has, or would, happen to you?

I have never had a friend overwrite something but they did lose my PS1 memory card that had my FF7, FF9, Ehrgeize, Guilty Gear, etc. save files on it. The best thing was that I was on the last disc of both FF games and now I don't even feel like playing them over because I am still pissed and this was a few years ago too!

wow that hasent happened to me yet. I would just go crazy if that happened to me. Our friendship would probably stop for awhile depending on what game it was. If it was my xenosaga game then oh yeah id be pissseeed. I mean I already freaked out when I thought I lost my memory card. xp

I've had my sister erase my games on accident. It happened with Final Fantasy X-2.

I do it to myself so much, and it makes me want to scream almost every time. Whenever a game starts to get too rough for me, I start a new file just so I can still play it until I figure out how to keep going in the first file. I hate when I save over the file that is farther along. gonk
My boyfriend has had something even worse though, and me, his sister, and his cousin were all pissed about it. He had literally unlocked almost everything in Soul Calibur 3, and then his mom's drunk boyfriend and his drunk friend or brother (I dunno) decided to play it, but they didn't want to mess up Will's file, so in their drunken (and otherwise) ignorance they pulled the goddamn save card out of the system while the ******** game was loading the file!! Everything was gone! All of our custom characters and everything! I wanted to beat them into bloody oblivion because it took me forever to make a decent custom character!! evil And it only makes it even worse that there's no way to screw up a fighting game file because it's always adding to it, and these dumbasses were such n00bs that they only used one move the whole time. And I literally mean one move. The one guy kept using Setsuka's vanilla kick, even if the person he was fighting against was on the ground. He challenged me, and Will told me to be nice since he was drunk, but there was no way I was going to be nice to a drunk guy. Little kids, yeah. Drunk guys who erase game files? No. scream

I've overwrittten on my sis's files before. But she did the same to me too. More times that I did to her. But they were always on complete accident. If it were on purpose, she wouldn't be living to see the next gen consoles.
It used to happen all the time, until we bought our own memory cards, and created backup files for just in case.

Stop letting him play your games o_o Or at least make him bring his own damned memory cards, especially if its happened more than once gonk
I cant stand it when s**t like that happens. Its like they dont have enough brains to figure out that there can only be one save file and if its already taken up, chances are you shouldnt save over it. At least ASK before you save when you're playing on someone else's console. Its just common sense and courtesy.
Not many people come over and play games at my house (its small and hard to get to), so I dont have to deal with that TOO often. But I've done it to myself >< I got to the final boss of a Baldur's Gate game on my xbox and was having a lot of difficulty beating him, so I saved and went to go play on another BG file while I thought about what to do. I saved it and it overwrote the bossfight file. I havent played it since xD
