Alright, so straight to it. How can you tell if a guy likes you or not?? There's this one guy who I think we're good friends... but how can you tell the difference between like and like?

Just look out for the small signs like him laughing at things you say or when you catch him looking at you from across the room.
(No I have not been hit on by men)

Really depends on the person. I know it was so obvious that I liked girls when I was younger, but I think might have learned some tact with my seven years since puberty (I'm nineteen).
This means that it isn't so obvious when I like a girl until I decide to display those emotions. I will warn you, however, then when they come out with me, it's acceptance or rejection.
This means that "Lets just be friends," "I don't like you that way" and "I already have a boyfriend" are not read as mature and respectful declinations. They're seen as rejections.
If this boy does say he likes you, and you're not interested, just say so. I've learned from experience that when I get turned down, it's best to just stop speaking to that girl for a few months. It lets me get over my hit to the ego and my potentially shattered emotions in more serious cases, and preserves friendship as a possibility later. When turned down for any reason, however, friendship becomes an impossibility for the moment.

I got turned down by this guy, and instead of me avoiding him, he avoided me. I guess it made him feel uncomfortable, but it made me feel worse. The amount of time we've been friends before that, just didn't matter anymore. It's like we don't even know each other anymore.

Ask him. Simple. If you don't, then someone else may go in for it while you're standing back and trying to "figure him out". And you'll regret it.

AnimeRavenLaura Alright, so straight to it. How can you tell if a guy likes you or not?? There's this one guy who I think we're good friends... but how can you tell the difference between like and like? Actually be straight foward and ask him. Most guys don't want to read minds, they don't want hints, they want to know what you want. A lot of guys would feel great that someone is interested in them.

Most guys really like that someone is interested in them even if they don't like you that way at the time they often times will try to shape their feelings to include you that is if they already don't have a girlfriend.Often times avoidence is the best medicine to keep things at bay for guys.
