I was taking a shower last night, and I noticed a hair sticking out of the aereola on my right breast. It wasn't even growing out of a bump--just the regular part. Is hair actually supposed to grow there?

It's perfectly normal. It sucks, I know, but there's nothing to worry about.

Yes it's totally normal. I figure that it has something with the minor amount of testosterone that all women have and sort of a chest hair thing since that is one of the first places boys grown hair in puberty. Just my thought though. Totally normal. I just trim them.

Everyone gets freak hairs on their body. I had an eyelash that grew under my eye for a while and my boyfriend has one on his back! However, if you keep plucking it with tweezers it will eventually stop growing (may take a few years). If you have a lot of hair or it's really bothersome you can get it lasered off. I used to work at a laser hair removal clinic, and this is quite common.
