Small white feeth padded over the ground as Akiiki's silver eyes flashed back and forth across it as well. For some strange reason or another he was completely bored to the point that he'd just taken it upon himself to walk away from the den and his family for the day.
While they lived outside of the Pridelands they were only a stone's throw away, and Aki had been able to reach them without that much of a problem. Flicking his ears back and forth brightly, the cub kept moving, his tail bobbing in the air behind him as his bright puff of a purple mane wafted around his head.
"Oh the sun is out and the sky is blue, and there isn't much that you can do, so come and play and we'll both stay, under the clouds where the birds sing sing away." Akiiki sang out to the sky with it's puffy white clouds. ninja

Kweupe was out for a daily flight across the pridelands. He had enjoyed its sights so far, but he felt, as each day went passed, he needed to move on. He wanted to explore again, see things he hadn't before. However, he had an itch just to stay around the Pridelands for a shortwhile longer.
He was soaring through the white clouds, dampening his fur with the moisture when he heard the song. It intrigued him, like most things, and so he flew to thr ground to see who was making such a sound.
"My, what an interesting song you are singing child." The Sky God said as he looked over the child. He had interesting markings, that was for sure.

Akiiki pricked up his ears and sat down in the grass as he looked up at the god above him. He had wings just like his dad, though he wasn't sure who this was. It certainly wasn't his daddy.
"Hello mister. Thanks, my daddy taught it to me." He said brightly, swishing his purple puff of a tail across the ground as he tried to use his seer powers to figure out who this god was.
Of course as of yet he didn't know how they worked, but he'd figured out that he could see events just a few minutes in the past if he quirked his eyebrows just right and screwed up his face.
Of course sadly it didn't work quite right this time.
"I'm Akiiki. What's your name mister?" he asked. ninja

"Well, it seems that your father may be musically inclined." Commented Kweupe, not really meaning anything. He pondered before answering the childs question. "My name is Kweupe, and I am the Sky God."
He fluffed his white feathery wings for extra effect. He loved to meet others and to tell them what he was.

"So then you're like Daddy! He's a god too. I knew I recognized those wings from somewhere."Akiiki blurted out, not thinking for a fraction of a second that he shouldn't tell strangers about his god-like heritage.
Besides, this lion seemed to be rather trustworthy.
"Yeah, he taught me lots of songs. I can sing until I can't sing anymore." Akiiki bragged lightly. ninja

"Your father is a God? That would make for an interesting conversation to your friends." Joked the Sky God. He didn't know that the Gods had children with mortals, yet somehow he thought it was fitting.
"How many songs do you know?" He asked, ignoring the childish bragging. It was a cub, so he would let it be a cub.

"Yeah! Athrun, the god of loneliness." Akiiki said brightly as he trotted around the large god in front of him. Kweupe looked cool to him, though the young cub had yet to meet any more gods beyond his father and this god.
Though he sat and pondered for a long minute before answered this time. "About twenty." He said at last, a bright smile on his muzzle. ninja

"Loneliness you say young cub? Yet he seems to have formed his own family..." Kweupe wondered if he would ever experience the love and joy of having his own family. Only time would tell.
"And TWENTY you say? My you must have a good memory for being so small!" Kweupe joked.

"Yep, daddy's always a little lonely, at least when he smiles. It's hard to tell what he's feeling the rest of the time, he's just silent." A sigh passed from his snow white muzzle as he sat down and looked off to the side. He was a little saddened by how much his father... or rather how little... his father actually talked.
But the joking compliment made him grin and spring about again. "It's not that much, daddy knows hundreds. I want him to teach me the really old Egyptian ones that he sang for Dumu and me." He chirpped, "He says I'm too little right now to understand them though." ninja

"Well, obviously he couldn't be too lonely if he has you? And I am sure with you he must have a mate around somewhere." The thought of a mate did not bother Kweupe for now. He would find one soon enough wouldn't he?
"Hmm, sounds like he has been around along time with all the songs he knows." Kweupe stated. "If I knew some songs I would surely teach them to you."

"Dumu and I keep him all happy." Akiiki admitted with a bright giggle. "And if you mean mommy, she's off with Dumu back around the den."
"I could teach you some mister." The white cub said, clapping his paws together playfully. "I like teaching songs." ninja

The blue god look at the young cub with interest. He seemed to be very understanding for a child his age. Especially if his father is a god. "Sure, learning a song would be nice." He answered in his deep, calm voice.

Leaning his little violet head to one side and closing silver yes brightly, Akiiki recieted the words to a song and then looked up at the god before him to see if he would repeat them before singing them out agian.
"our souls are always entwined, left and right across the sun. You're in my way but you can't move out, hear my cries in the night and turn to me in my hours. Why do we never cross my cousin? Why am I alone? Sun and moon and in between, save our souls as we spiral the scene."
It was a random song he'd come up with, but Akiiki liked it all the same.
About to break into another verse, a familiar shadow swooped close enough to the ground to make the shadow large and wide. Huge wings spread out on either side of it and the white lion glided slowly towards his den once more, only having come by to warn his son to follow.
A sigh floated from Akiiki's muzzle and he inclined his head to the much larger god, smiling. "Sorry mister! Dad's callin me." A cub-ish smile crossed his white muzzle and he turned, following the dissapearing shadow through the grasses towards home. If he was lucky maybe his father wouldn't punish him too hard. ninja
