Hey. I printed the Hiragana japanese language, but I don't understand it at all. would gladly appreciate help.

Umm...well, what isn't there to understand? Just learn the characters for each sound and presto, you can write Hiragana. Janglish, maybe, but at least you know the alphabet.

but aren't some of them just extras?

Well, I'm still waiting on an answer on the second character for each entry:

Like it goes
a ___ ___

Learn the first character. I'll get back to you on the second one, but even if the second one is right, you should still learn the first one first.

Oh yeah, and pronounciationwise:

a = ah, as in car
i = ee as in see
u = oo as in poo (lol)
e = eh as in cent
o = oh as in cone

You can go there and learn the first 5. confused It simple to learn anyways.
But on that thread she has to update it so it could be anytime. You can always ask Freakzette to update.

Learning Hiragana and Katakana is pretty easy and can be fun! Learn the pronunciation and it's easy. You can find books on it.

Kanji is different. It can be fun but there are LOOOOOOOOTS so learn. 1945 jouyou kanji, and like 255 jinmeiyou kanji I think. confused Close to that. You can find them all in one of Aiko_589's threads or in my Journal where I keep the list so I don't forget them and I can look at them and know which I have to learn. smile

EDIT: My siggy has the ones I know so you can stare at them smile but you can learn Kanji in the Learning Japanese subforum BUT for some you should learn Hiragana and Katakana for some for some of them.

the poo example is wrong, the oo soun din english is pronounce with round lips, in japanese you do not round your lip which produces a different sound, please see my thread on pronouncing.

Please go to Aiko's pronounciation guide for that, and for other help please use the Subforums.

I don't know if this is violating the post rules completely because it's not specifically 'teach me Japanese,' but I would recommend you ask for help there rather than here.

Haha, sorry. I've never actually made the round lips to say 'uu' though, even when I speak English. 'Guess I take that for granted.

I'm working on diagram, sorry, I'm a slow one.

This is a little bit "teach my japanese" so I'm going to lock this thread. However, check the subforum for the diagrams
