[ The cool morning weather had coaxed Matawi from her lush jungle home and into the Savannah. The few clouds that hovered over head in the crisp air provided some shelter from the sun and she wandered along in the dry, crackling, grass. The sea green coloration on her fur made her stick out in the dim yellow, but she did not mind in the least. If Anything approched her with intent to harm her she could easily out run it or scare it off. Unless she ran into a cheetah.
She sighed at the thought of not being able to out run one if one wandered by but on such a pleasent day she hoped nothing would nother her. As she continued on her way Matawi found a quiet resting spot and lay down, survaying all that was around her. She didn't pay enough attention to anything and it was possible that she skipped over several others but that was just fine.
As the clouds slowey floated and allowed the sun to show it's bright face she closed her eyes and lifted her own face to let it be touched by the warm rays. Grinning from the warmth she slowly began to hum her own little song. ]

Purple eyes looked up at the sky and watched the clouds floating by then a yawn came from a young cheetahs mouth. Hinotama started to groom his fur from any dust that could be covering his hair he hated when his fur didn't look the best even his brothers use to call him sissy when he started to groom like crazy he just wanted to look the best.
He turned his head towards the direction his brothers and his mother where resting, these days Hinotama where walking longer and longer for each day because he didn't need there protection in the same way anymore but he always retured because he was such a family man.
Some dust landed on his nose and he sneezed..
" A...Atjooo! ok thats it no more grooming for now "
The cheetah said with a very soft voice and started walking in the direction off a leopard witch he didn't know yet. His brain hadn't woke up yet.

[ Her eyes began to open as she peered around again, this time she payed more attention to her souroundings and the creatures in it. Her eyes fell upon a cheetah which made her giggle uncontrolobly. It had rainbow neck fur! She couldn't help but laugh. It was such a wonderful sight and made her good day even better.
Matawi rose to greet him as he came even closer, forgetting that this one might be a threat. Although, he didn't look much like one. She began to take steady steps towards him the stopped and sat, waiting for for him to close the gap between them.
"Hello there." She called out as loudly as she could and giggled even more. There was much else to say to the Cheetah until her was close enough to have a conversation. As she sat and waited her counted the many colors on his neck. 'One... Two... Three... FOur...Five...' Five? She questioned in her mind before blinking slowly at the colors. They were all so... So pretty. ]

Another yawn and then he blinked some so his eyes would see more things clear. It did take sometime before Tama noticed a leopard...a leopard? oh he had never met one off those he had seen a few from distance but he had never been this close to a leopard to have a conversation with but this one was lauging...at him?
He shoke his head so his rainbow mane moved lightly from side to side you could notice that he was very proud off his looks specially his mane and clean fur.
" Oh hallo? umm why are you laughing? do i have something in my face? "
Oh maybe he shouldn't have greeted her but he couldn't understand why she was lauging was there something wrong with him? but she didn't look dangerous, his legs was probably faster then hers anyway.

[ Matawi quickly pulled herself together quickly, trying to act as it she was a calm and quiet creature. But below the outside bubbled the laughter and carefree lifestyle of a young cub. She stared, unblinkingly as the Cheetah came nearer. She held her breath to keep the laughter down but quickly realized that that was not the way to go.
She exhaled loudly and a small giggle erupted. It wasn't as easiy as she thought it would be, holding any thing down. "I am laughing at your several colors." She stated truthfully. "They are... Amuzing." She tilted her head. He had a wonderful golden star too. This was definatly a first.
"So no, there is nothing on your face." Unless, the star was something but she decided it was better not to ask. What if this star was something he was proud of? ]

He made a face when he walked closer to the leopard that facial expression wasn't the happiest you could find around here..why did she laugh? when he came closer the sat down ifront off her but still with some distance to be sure.
" Oh my colors? oh my rainbow mane umm...errrr well i am born like this "
He cleared his troat was that so funny? his mane? sure he looked diffrent but he didn't wanna appear as a clown or somethin. His star in his forhead and his yellow paws wasn't so natrual either but he always tought he looked good but he started to doubt that now..a little..
" Ok good...you know it's not nice laughing at someone "

[ She wondered if maybe it wasn't the best thing to laugh at him, but she honestly couldn't help it. Matawi laughed at everything. As she watched him sit down. Slowly she closed her eyes, maybe if she couldn't see him she wouldn't laugh at him.
It did no good. With closed eyes she saw the image of his colorful mane. She opened her eyes. It was better, and more polite just to look at him. "I like your colors." She said infasizing the word 'like'. "It makes me feel happy." She realized how silly that must have sounded but it was so true.
She stared at him, wondering what he was thinking about. "I do know. But laughter is good for you, does it matter what causes it?" She questioned. Even when she felt like a young one again, she was still level headed.
A question had slipped her mind. "Who," she started, "Are you?" ]

He raised an eyebrown and wagged her tail slowley this girl was a little weird maybe her parents was weird or something..maybe they leared her strange things. But Tama wasn't a bad cheetah he was nice so he would never do anyoen any harm if they didn't threatend his life.
He tilted his head to the side he newly become and adolescent so he still had a little childish look but that would go away soon.
" Oh thank you...i like them myself to. Hm well it's good to laugh but maybe it's not nice lauging at others "
He smiled, he had a soft and gentle smile then he throw back his mane again he almost looked a little noble.
" I am Hinotama! it meens fallenstar "

[ She blinked slowly, once, twice, three times. The cloudy day making shadows dance across the land. Matawi stared at it then looked at her aquantince again. Her eyes fell upon his swaying tail and she reached out to it, hopeing to play with it.
She kept glancing upwards to meet his eyes while she tried to smack his tail gently. He looked so childish. Almost exactly how she felt more than half the time. She was always trying to act her age, but she hardly ever could act it long.
Matawi laughed. "You're welcome." she grinned and giggled a bit more. "And laughter is laughter. And I don't care if it isn't nice." Matawi felt that no matter what was the cause of it, it was still an amazing thing. Always tickling your insides and making you full ob bubbling joy. "Fallenstar?" She tilted her head. "I like it. I am Matawi. And I don't know it's meaning." ]

Tama looked at the leopard females eyes she seemed a little weird this female maybe that was how leopard acted? he didn't know and he didn't care really. He continued to swing his tail back and fourth..
The cheetah glanced at her and looked a little surprized that she tried smacking his tail maybe she was all weird after all. He moved his tail more to the side but it still looked pretty and fluffy. The gods had done a pretty good job with him his gracious body who was somewhat feminine but muscular, clear eyes, great fur and a pretty rainbow mane.
" Mrrr ok so why are you trying to paw at my tail? you like it? " the male just shoke his head silly lady. " Ah yes fallenstar i guess it has to do with my star shaped marking on my forhead " he pointed towards his yellow star. " Oh nice to meet you~~ " he said with his gentle and soft voice he could be polite even if she wasn't..

[ As she continued to paw at his tail, she looked up at him, then back down. Matawi wondered if Maybe, just maybe, she was making a fool of herself. But that was unlikely. Right? Oh no! What if it wasn't? She thought about it for a few seconds before deciding that is wasn't possible. But a little scratching feeling in the back of her mind wouldn't fully let go of the Idea.
Hey paw landed on the little puff then it was quickly whipped away, and out of her grasp. Matawi nodded. "It is fluffy and pretty. I would like to play with it." She stopped and sat up. "So that is what it is. A Star! I thought it was yellow dirt." She told how she felt, then regretted it. "But do not pay attention to me." ]

Tama just watched her paw at his tail heh was it really that funny? she was so childish maybe that was how she was or maybe she recently become and adult. He sat there looking all pretty with his dark purple eyes and rainbow colored mane then he looked up at her..
" Oh thank you! i like my tail too "
He blinked as a reaction to her comment to his star, ok that was not nice everyone could see it was a yellow star. He pouted his lips and looked a little annoyed and bent his face really close towards hers she could almost smell his breath and feel his mane touching her face..
" See~~ it's a star and a very nice yellow star...take a closer look you seem to need it "

[ Matawi Stopped and tucked her paws benteath her puffy chest fur, making it look even more puffy and kind of awkward. She didn't much notice. As he could do was stare at that tail. So fluffy and pretty. Matawi was an odd one. She was just so unique. Often times a thought crossed her mind, She was different on the inside. In her mind Everything wasn't as clear as it should be.
"It is pretty." She repeated. As if that was the answer to his staement. She pulled back slightly as he got closer. 'How odd' she thought to herself then stared at the star. "It is like yellow dirt. And I did not need a closer look at see that." She nodded. ]

Tama rolled his eyes, what was wrong with her? now he really started to wounder..maybe all leopards was like this? but he didn't know more then this woman annoyed him and they didn't use to do that they tend to think he was pretty and they could stare at him for hours but ok she likes his tail and pretty mane so that was a plus he guessed...
He looked really grumpy when she mentioned his star looked like dirt again and push the leopard to the ground with one off his paws not to hard off course he didn't want to hurt her...
" See! that is dirt not me silly woman "
But after he had done that he changed his mind..nooo why did he do that? he never use to do that to any females he had met so he looked down at her with his head bent down over her head..
" I am sorry...are you ok? i don't know what got into me.. "

[ Matawi stared at him, awestruck. Why was he pushing her? She hadn't done anything wrong. Well, she hadn't felt like she had done anything wrong. A little dust cloud puffed up where she fell and she inhaled the corse drown dust in the air, and made her begin to cough it out. She stared at him and blinked back the dampness in her eyes.
She curled up and stared at the groung with an occasional cough. "You are mean like dirt. It makes me cough, and you make me sad." She looked up at him then back at the dirt and kept her attention there. "I am NOT okay." She whispered to herself. ]
