- The currents tug at the foal's body, pulling him down underneath the water and not letting go. For one wild moment, he doesn't know which way is up, and he panics, thrashing out instinctively. This, unfortunately, only tugs him deeper down. His eyes are tightly shut to not let in the water, and so he can't even see. Something brushes against his hindquarters, and he thrashes out again, thinking horridly of sharks and whales and deep sea creatures.
But the thing felt very much like wet horse, and his senses return: it must be either Mocha or Yei. The recognition relieves him, and gives him enough sense to calm down and, a moment, later, his head bursts up above the ocean.
He sucks in air in huge, rattling gasps, coughing and hacking as he lets the waves carry him further inland, so that his limbs can get underneath him, although they don't really feel like they're up to carrying his weight. Thoroughly wet, and thoroughly disgruntled, Fledge stands in the shallows, looking more like a skinny, overly-large water rat than a foal.

- Mocha allowed the waves to carry her inland before she found ground for which her hooves could carry her. Tired and worried, she splashed towards Fledge. "Fledge, are you all right?" she asked, concerned. She felt waterlogged suddenly, and grinned at Yei sheepishly.
"Maybe we shouldn't have gone in so far..." she nuzzled Fledge, hoping that would help him to feel better. "You're all right, right?" she asked again. She felt ashamed that she couldn't have helped her friend. "I'm sorry, Fledge... this is all my fault for wanting to play." Guilt-wracked, her ears drooped sadly.

- "It's no one's fault, just a simple accident that even I could have made!" She gave a small smile as she followed the pair into the shallows and gave a rather unceremonious shake to remove most of the droplets from her mane and tail, having done that she soon reverted to the single drooped ear and continued to watch the pair for a few moments, racking her mind for some type of activity that would let them play but wouldn't risk them going back in too deep.
"How about we have a treasure hunt?" She enquired curiously as she glanced at the now disgruntled colt and guilty filly, "I'll give you a clue and you have to find the place or thing I'm talking about, when you do I'll reappear and give you another clue until you find the prize at the end!"
