My mom thinks video games are uneducational, but i like stratagy games and they are kinda educational. I got one called Impossible creatures that teaches me about animals and their abilities. I hear in school and places that if you use your mind then you get better. Well heres the question
are video games Educational?

Hey! I'd say yes and no. I dunno really though. My Bro thinks that the games where you need to figure out puzzles are the best. He loves mazes and he's excellent at them and yet, he's only 9!! Me, I play so much Play Station 2 because I'm ot at home and I'm 14...so...yeh.... sweatdrop smile

video games r 100% educational. they make u think. no matter which kind of game it is. well.... almost on every game. my parents let me play. its just that my dads like. its bad for ur eyes. so i cant play in front of him. crying

It depend on teh game. If it wasn't for video games, I wouldn't have much of a future. Video games teachs stragy, helps people to socialize, and some games might even teach you history, Like age ofempires I, II, and soo to come out, age of empires III (whcih will teach you about Parts of American history)

kinda....my mom always says that becuase of video games, people rape and kill other people..i kinda doubt that though, unless your idiotic enough to kill somone just cuz ya saw it in a video game.

i once read an article in a playstation magazine about someone with some kind of science test and the day before the test they played Parasite Eve all day. it turns out that almost all of the info they needed was in the game. strange eek 3nodding

strange but true,...interesting...... * ponders* i say..depends on the video game..Oh man! One time on the news, they were talking about this new video game were your a cop, and you go after drug dealers, and then you can smoke there drugs, like if you smoke pot then you get super fast but you fall down alout..and if you take too many drugs then they make you take this drug test...man..that is one odd video game..who comes up with these idea's?
