Ok, well I was listing to my Dragonforce Collection this morning and I thought this "why dont I try this on my bass?"
So then I pull out the Good Young Warlock and look at the tab on Guitar Pro 5. These were the words that came out of my mouth "HOLY ******** s**t!"
1. I play a lot of children of bodom but this tops it, the speed for the songs.... 2. Yes I use pick, I dont use finger for these songs because of the speed 3. Some of these songs are deadly on your bass, try them yourself
But after 2 hours of speed picking I now have the right speed for the song...
But tell us, Have you ever been stopped by learning a song because of the speed of it?

Yeah, Dragonforce, (and most powermetal) tends to be quite fast, Dragonforce is the appitamy of speed. I have not really messed with there bass lines to much, but i do LOVE the bass line for body brake down

For speed I would also suggest something along the lines of Strapping Young Lad or maybe Cannibal Corpse.
