   HM 01 Cut Home of the Vermillion City Gym, Lt. Surge, and the S.S.Anne. Cut is obtainable in this town as well. Appearing Pokemon:Roll one 6-sided di. 1=Bellsprout 2=Growlithe 3=Meowth 4=Drowzee 5=Ekans 6=Sandshrew The level will be determined in the next post of battle by rolling 1 4-sided di again, however this time the corresponding number will be the level. This may only be done every 7 posts in this city. 1=Lv. 21 2=Lv. 22 3=Lv. 23 4=Lv. 24

Chloe stepped out of the portal, instantly feeling the change in the air as she stepped from the still, dead air in between dimensions into the gentle breeze of the port town.
"Hm... never been here before," she murmured, glancing about. The S.S. Anne was in port, but she avoided that for now, knowing that she wouldn't be able to get on the ritzy train without a ticket.
"So... I suppose I'll start at the gym," she smiled, patting Cáel, who squeaked out a miniature roar with a smile.

Chloe let Cáel down, and the Dratini slithered forward to face against Lt. Surge's Pikachu. "Come on, Cáel, we can do this! Start off with a Slam!" Chloe ordered, as the Dratini charged forward with all its might, it lowered its head, ramming into the Pikachu full force. Surge yelled, "Remember our times in Team Rocket, we've faced tougher opponents than this Dratini! retaliate with a Thunderbolt!" The Pikachu charged the electrical energy in its cheeks, releasing it in a mighty blast of lightning that arced towards Cáel. The Dratini hunkered down, grounding his tail to release the shocks of lightning faster as he endured the drastic hit. "Draaaaaaaaaa...." he muttered, struggling to clear his head as he shook it, rising from the blast. "Hang in there, Cáel!" Chloe shouted, "Use another Slam!" The Dratini nodded resolutely, charging forward once more, ramming into the Pikachu again. The Pikachu struggled to rise after the second blow, much weaker than at the start of the battle. Lt. Surge yelled his next orders, knowing that they would most likely be the last he gave the Pikachu in this battle. "Use another Thunderbolt, don't cut any slack!" The Dratini managed to rise a second time from the strong electrical attack, but he was definitely weaker as well. Chloe knew the little dragon couldn't take much more, so she decided to get one last hit in. "Finish it off, use one last Slam!" she shouted to the Dratini in the arena. "Use another Thunder, keep it together, don't let up!" Lt. Surge ordered. The Raichu nodded, concentrating as it charged another horrible blast of lightning.
