GENERAL
College student at St Valentine’s private college, living off campus at the home of her Aunt, Sister Mary Joanna Weiss.
Christie is a regular human, but she possesses the power to see and speak to the dead and similar spirits. This is a skill she does little to advertise or considers that unusual since she has been able to do it since she was a child.
She usually lives alone as her Aunt is almost always away on missions with her church group, but Christie does in fact live with the small child ghost Natasha and the possessed stuff toy rabbit, Sebastian. Several other spirits live in the large estate that was left to Christie’s Aunt by her grandfather, but only a small portion of the residential home is used by Christie to live in.
Christie knows little about her parents or, as her Aunt often describes them, “those wild and irresponsible hippies”. They died when she was four years old and since then Christie has lived with her Aunt.
PERSONALITY
Generally quiet and doesn’t socialise with anyone in her classes but Troy, who she has been friends with since high school, and a few other select people at the college (most of which are dead). Christie does however have a soft spot for the spirits who do communicate with her and makes the effort to get to know them. Christie prefers to spend most of her time in college at the library.
CLOTHES
Christie’s taste in clothes is usually far from imaginative. Whenever possible she wears her large and baggy sweatshirt from her school uniform that’s to be for her in the length and the arms. Other than her usual school uniform, Christie can sometimes be seen in loose fitting jeans and, well, one of many baggy jumpers. In the summer she can sometimes be persuaded into something more appropriate.
SHORT STORY SUMMARY
After the foundations of her house shift one evening, Christie finds the sleeping body of a young woman, completely nude and unconscious in her basement beside a hole in the solid stone beneath the house.
Waking the next morning to find the 'woman' is infact the male trickster demon Demo. Suddenly deciding for himself, Demo now lives with Christie, making her mortal life almost a living hell with his constant sexual advancements and the trail of demons and other beings from hell he attracts.
EXTRA INFO/SPOILERS
* Christie’s parents were nothing to special other than a pair of historians. They spent their time looking into old religions and cults. Christie’s own father was also sensitive to spirits and had an understanding of ghosts. It was when her mother ran away from home to marry Christie’s father that the pair were blacklisted from the family, although Christie’s Aunt took her in when her parents were killed during their travels in Europe.
