here we can list some movies or etc to inspire people. I checked into the movie "the second chance" with Michael w. smith. Its an amazing movie, for both believers and non, and it truly shows how people live in those rough towns. Its about drugs, prostitution, homelessness and other things, and what TWO men do to change it. Its truly amazing. anyone else know of anything?

The book called House is a great christian book. I don't remember who wrote it but I strongly reccomend to check it out. It's a great novel.
Also Brian Littrel from the backstreet boys is now a christian artist and his cd called welcome home is so amazing. Literally every song on it is great. You should check that out also!

Newsboys newest album Go is coming out on October 31.
i don't remember his name, bt there is an artist with a song out called I'm Not Cool. (i'm not cool, but i don't care how i'm s'posed to fix my hair. i'm not cool, that's okay. my God loves me anyway.) it's a lot of fun and very true.
www.klove.com has streaming Christian music 24/7

ooh I've heard a few of Kutless's songs and I've heard about them in general but I still haven't bought a cd or anything.
Left Behind is a series that I know of: i don't really like it personally but others might. I think the adult series are a bit more popular than the kids' series though.
I'll have to check House out though. I need a good book biggrin

I love David Crowder Band!! Our youth group band does a lot of their songs (Undignified!!), I just didn't realize it up until a couple days ago. They also have Sunsets & Sushi, Lime, Illuminate, and another CD I can't think of, but the only one I have right now is A Collison. I really want Lime and B Collision, though. What do you think about the song You Are My Joy (I saw them in concert w/Third Day at a CFAW at Liberty University. It rocked even more because never before had I heard of them!) mrgreen

for those of us who are into the more heavy side of christian music, not life metal (death metal only talking about God), but some heavy rock bands. The ones i am into right now are Thousand Foot Krutch, Chevelle, and P.O.D. there is one band that i think may be christian that i listen to but i need to delve deeper into them to find out. don't mind the dice. just a random thing i felt like doing lol.

"Miracle of Cards" is an amazing and inspiring movie it's about a boy that got a brain tumor and his last wish is to break the guiness record for collecting cards the doctors say that he has no chance of surviving but his mom never gave up on him she got visions and signs from God anyways, it a really really good movie that you should watch

I agree, I love that song! My friend and I heard it at the concert, and now we sing it to get on one of our youth leader's nerves (works every time!), but I love singing it anyways....still haven't gotten my parents to listen to the whole thing, though....wonder why.... (that's a lot of exclamation points in there) mrgreen

Personally, I'm into Skillet's Collide. I think that's an awesome CD. Another good one is Thousand Foot Kruch's Phenonomon. I want to get The Art of Breaking, but waiting for Christmas. Pillar's Fireproof is really good too. And for those into rap, I love Cross Movement, Grits, or John Ruben. I've listened to Cross Movement's Holy Culture and Higher Deffinition, and those are two great CD's. For Grits I've listened to The Art of Traslation, Ditchotomy A, and Ditchotomy B. They're really good too. Also for those into Techno there's Andy Hunter, and his CD's are top notch, the only drawback of liking his music is that he only has 2 CD's out. The first of his 2 CD's has 10 tracks, and the second one has 6 that last 43 minuets in all.
As for Kutless that was brought up earlier, they have 4 CD's. Kutless, Sea of Faces, Strong Tower, and Hearts of the Innocent (came out in that order too)
If anybody knows of some good techno, please tell me about it, or hook me up.

Skillets latest D is good too (Comatose) Skillets Cd...Alien Youth, and Invincible, I believe are their techno-stuff. I have Kutless' Latest CD Hearts of the Innocent, which also has some good stuff, I have a few songs from project 86, a more harder alternative, rock group, not expressly "Christian" in thier music, but they are a safe alternative to secular stuff, the same the metal group Demon Hunter, and Disciple. Not expressly "christian" but you won't hear all sorts of swearing and inappropriate topics in thier music. Pillar is really good, I have the Cd Where do We Go from Here (Special Edition) and I'm wanting The Reckoning.

Firelight is an AWESOME christian rock band. I just found out about them yesterday in fact. Lucky thing too--they will inspire you if nothing else does.
Chicken Soup for the Christian Teenage Soul has some very inspiring stories. If you get the book read "Rescue Me" and "He Sees" especially.
