To be re-worked. Anyone want to take this on? Or, is there a better thread I could link to out in the forums? Maybe a link-list to various resource threads might be better, eh? How Tos Shorten Your URLsGaia is character limited. The longer your codes are, the less easy it is to add more. Most free hosting sites have huge long URLs for your images, so to cut them down, you can use one of these sites: Snip URL - This is my favourite. It's not loaded with ads, it's fast, and easy to use. Tiny URl - Same as SnipURL Free and Useful WebspaceTripod Hosting - Provides free PHP services - perfect for php imagemaps (like the one in my signature) Photobucket - Free image hosting ScriptsCutandPaste Scripts Will host random text, random links and random images. Signature ToolsCharacter Counter - Very useful! Never again see the system error telling you your signature is too long! Just construct your sig in this tool, then copy it over to your Profile when you're done. I use this a lot. Color Schemer - You don't have to use the prefab colors provided in the "font-color" drop-down in the Message Editor - go ahead an colourize your world. biggrin Pixy Colorscheme - I can see that some people might find this one more daunting, but it's my favourite colour tool on the Internet. Gai Howto ResourcesMake Your Own PHP Imagemap! by Jakobo - This is an awesome resource, complete with all the codes you need to make your own clickable image map. You can have as many links as you like, and it takes very little room in your profile signature area. Choggo just want to point everyone to page 12 at jakobo's sig map tutorial thing, I posted the code on how to make a random siggy, having the link change according to the image displayed... This is an in-guild resource for people who want to volunteer their services. If you are volunteering, please post a sample of what you can do, and any rules you might have concerning your terms of service (ie. how long you take, expectations of requestor's behavior, that kind of stuff) Also, describe the types of sigware you will make: names, blinkies, small banners, buttons, wishlists, quest items, etc. Volunteer posts will be the only items I will not delete from this thread. If you are coming for a request, be very respectful of the volunteers. I had a shop making free wishlists.. I'm not as free now, but I can still make em if people want em... link to the shop was http://xrl.us/chogshopso you could put me under volunteer for wishlists. I can do anything else too >_>; if I'm not too lazy at the time sweatdrop oh yeah, also a good image host that could be added to the list.. http://irev.net/avatar no bandwith.. and no image size limit.. but only holds images.

Every signature will include your image and color choice of a back line. If you want an image in the back line please provide a link to it. I can make lots of backgrounds, so suggest what you would like done. If you want a subtitle (trendwhore teddy, etc) please say so. I can do them with or without.

Please state in request which style you would like and what items you would like. As stated above, both have a limit of 20 items. Style 2 comes in a variety of colors.

State which style link you would like. For style 1, please provide an image to use in the background. I can touch it up with brushes if you'd like, please say wheter you want just the image or the image+detailing.

Free Graphics Volunteer I can make wishlists and avatar drawings. I don't think avatar drawings count for anything listed above but I'll still do them. You can see examples at my Wishlist Shop and Avatar Drawing Shop. To get a wishlists just fill out the information on the front page of my shop.

Lyx- AWESOME job with the first post! Extremely informative and very well put together. I love the different sections for members who volunteer to make different things for members. heart
One thing though, can I request that you make a note somewhere that the (GNA Member & purring kitty) sig banners provided are created by me? I AM quite proud of them. wink
