We will be signing up non members in the chatter box at the administrative office.Admin Office for RDSPlease come and show your support by bumping! This will get more people in the RDS and give you more people to battle!!
RDS Members sign up here please!
We will have two divisions.
1) Straight fighting and weapons, nothing magical.(Meaning if it can't be done IRL OOC then you can't do it.)
2) Anything goes, that's right kiddo's ANYTHING!
We will have two polls as well.
1) The peoples Favorite (This won't weigh on who actually wins due to multiple accounts and so on.)
2) The Mods actual vote. (This picks the winner. If a Mod battles, they can't vote in that battle.)

I have a question. Why are we recruiting in the chatterbox for non members if we're holding a guild tournament? Shouldn't it just be the members we have now that sign up? Not trying to discourage guild recruiting but..for an inner guild tournament there should at least be SOME restriction on who can enter. Like guild members only and only guild members that have been here at least a month etc etc. You get the idea. domokun So yeah. I'm in full support of the two divisions I know people like different things but recruiting non members for an inner guild tournament seems...frankly stupid to me sweatdrop

Actually I'd rather toss out the idea of outsiders all together to be truthful. I was hoping for a GUILD tournament. Not just anyone who signs up from the chatterbox and doesn't know the first thing about the RDS.

People should join the guild to join the guild and get in on the RP not just for some tournament and then go inactive a week later like I predict most of those who join for that reason will. Less people? I doubt that actually. We have enough active members to make for some fun.

Yes but if they're joining JUST for violence they after it's over what are they going to do? Go inactive like half the guild went. I can't see this working out to our favor as a guild and I'm going to have to go against it confused

Keep it Guild members only, if we use "outsiders" and the winner gets a unknown gold prize then you can bet your butt that most of them will godmod like crazy to get it.
Even if they are all disqualified for such a thing it will discourage others to participate and it might die down before a winner can be declared.
People on Gaia are greedy SOBs and most will do anything for gold, like selling pornographic pictures of themselves for example.
And i'm not saying Guild members are less greedy but most in here keep themselves on the level as far as i've seen.

I know Im new here. But from just a guild stand point. I think that if it is a guild tournament it should be for guild members only that has allready joined before the tournament anouncment went up. I think it should allso be limited to guild members that have posted x amount of times. (Yes even if it leaves me out *smile*) I say this becouse what if you have someone who joined awhile ago but only have post twice but now OH WOW GOLD and they just jump back in they havint been active. But then you have a new member that is very active and was here right before the anoucment went up then why should they get counted out when they have jump right in but some other that just been doing nothing gets to do it.
Okay just my opion. Im rambling abit hope that came across right just really stressed right now. LOL
